We really wanted to like these shoes. They appeared to be perfect little tennis shoes for my active 7 year old son, but the instant he slipped them on and stood up he complained that the plastic on the back of the ankle was digging in and hurting him when he walked. He really wanted to like them too, but he just couldn't get them to be comfortable. The bottom of the shoe also didn't seem like they would grip and would most likely cause slips and falls on wet or slick surfaces. No one likes a broken neck (I know from experience) or concessions 😉 Everything else on the shoe seemed decent and comfortable quality though. Even the fit was true to size, color and design was great. Flexible for playing in and easy to slip on and off and tie up. Overall, this company almost has a 4-5 star quality, but unfortunately, in my humble opinion, is just not quite up to par for active children. ... show more

So I went on a lib with these shoes and they’re truly great I got these for my boys because they’re so tough with shoes so these were kind of a tester Shoe… but the shoe it’s self is very light weight they lasted them longer then I expected we’ve gotten every color and I will continue to get these as play shoes very flexible soft material washes really well in the washer have faithfully been getting these shoes for a year now ... show more
