Love this dress. I needed purple for an event. Paired it with yellow shoes. I’m 5’5”, weigh 143, and I’m not curvy - more straight as in my waist is only 7” smaller than my hips - so this style works well for me. 38-32-39 and purchased a Medium. I like that the dress is made of soft stretchy fabric, kind of like a T-shirt but thicker and heavier. The sleeves are beautiful and give it a dressier look and most importantly - hide my aging arms. Flattering and comfortable. I’ve only washed it once in a mesh bag and dried on ultra low heat. It held up and seems to be good quality.

I purchased this dress (RUMIA Women's Cocktail Dress with Flutter Sleeves in purple) for $29.99, needing it quickly for a loved one's Homegoing service. Unfortunately, the quality was very disappointing — the material felt cheap and nothing like what was shown or described in the reviews. Because I needed it ASAP, I didn’t have time to exchange or return it, but if I had, I definitely would have. For the price, I expected better. This experience has made me rethink ordering clothing from Amazon, and I’ll likely take a break from shopping here for a while. Just be cautious if you’re looking for something of decent quality for an important occasion.

I ordered this dress in blue and green. Blue came exactly as pictured and is lovely. Comfortable, cute, flattering and soft. I decided I might like green instead so I ordered it in green. I got an entirely different green dress. Different cut, material everything. Just glad I didn’t send the blue one back because while I prefer the green color it is an unflattering frock and I need to wear it tomorrow. Just beware you might not get what you think you’re ordering.
