The material is light weight, slightly stretchy, and silky feeling. The quality of the stitching is a bit questionable with several stray threads showing along some of the seams, so be sure to inspect closely upon receipt. At almost 6' tall with a solid hourglass figure, I struggle to find button down blouses with long enough sleeves/body and a loose enough fit in the upper arms, while maintaining a shapely fitted style. I can typically wear a size M in short sleeve shirts but usually need a large in anything with long sleeves. Standing with arms at my side, the size L shirt fits and looks great on me. The upper arm sleeve circumference allows me to bend my elbows without the cuffs riding up my forearms. The shirt drapes nicely across my wide hips while accentuating my slender waist. No gap appears at the buttons across the breasts. I can keep the cuffs buttoned in the looser of the two button positions and have plenty of room for my wrists to move. However, the area across the upper chest and connection to the sleeves is quite tight and restricts my ability to move with ease. Buttoning the top two buttons further restricts movement to the point of being unwearable. As with most blouses, I'm unable to raise my arms without my mid-drift showing or cross my arms in front of me without pulling the material tight across my shoulder blades. From my frequent experience with these issues, a larger size won't necessarily resolve them and only adds material that billows around my waist, detracting from the fitted-style and making the blouse look sloppy on me. Considering my low expectations for a perfect fit with long sleeve button down blouses, this one is adequate enough to add to my wardrobe. ... show more
