Classic blue and red full- body jumpsuit with black-web printed design and black spider logo on front, matching red gloves with black webbed pattern, and pull-on hooded mask with wide white eye details for visibility while wearing and mesh at nose and mouth for breathability. Jumpsuit is form fitting, please be sure to consult the Rubie's adult 2nd Skin size chart and guidelines (see images) to determine your best size option, hoods may come attached or separate. I really count on good Amazon reviews so I’m always sure to provide one if I think a product needs it. I am 6 feet tall 175 pounds I believe that’s pretty average. After careful review from previous reviews I decided to get the extra large even though it’s for someone much heavier than me. I should mention I got this for my son‘s fourth birthday to surprise him by the swimming pool so if your application is different plan accordingly. This costume is too short it said so in the review so I got the biggest one to see if I could fix that problem. Getting my head zipped in was very very hard without catching my hair in the zipper. Seeing is extremely difficult through the eye area. If this were my choice for an adult party I would be miserable. There is no way to take a drink and you are basically not at the party between your eyesight your inability to drink or use the bathroom without a helper, breathe or talk to anyone. I wore the costume for about five minutes and it got the job done but it administered one heck of a wedgie. ... show more

Was totally excited when I found out Amazon offered super hero suits for serious crime fighters. Popularity seems to pick up around Fall. However, at 6' 4", 195 lbs, and a general extremely ripped build, i found the specially designed suit to be a little on the small side. Feet couldn't quite fit into the foot area and spandex was too tight around my calves and groin area. This totally affected the quality of my spinning back kicks and general sidewalk somersaults. I found myself having to resort to front kicks and speed walking as I did not want to split open the suit and reveal my identity. Downside, I had to limit myself to just 40% of the moves in my martial arts book. Upside, I found a 20% off laser tag coupon in the book. Those laser pricks didn't see me coming. The height of the costume is not meant to extend to a towering and authoritative 6' 4" frame such as myself. Due to the stretch that my height placed on the suit, the back area was not body conforming but rather stretched from my butt to my upper back leaving a gap in the arch of my back. This did complete injustice to the sculpted roundness of my glutes area and ultimately was unflattering. To compensate I joined a Planet Fitness to further extend the sculptedness of my glutes and make them more apparent in the suit. However, I did not take into account that my glutes were already at max capacity, so this was a waste of time and a $10 monthly gym membership. I will say that the design is fairly spot on and true to the history books that I've seen it referenced. If I was a bit of a lesser man then this suit would be perfection. It is obvious to any bystander that I mean business and don't take flack from giant lizards, people with eight arms, or self-checkout stands. They piss me off. To summarize, I feel if I was less of an intimidating 6' 4" extremely ripped build then this suit would be perfect. However, I believe this suit maxes out at a puny 6' 3". ... show more

For what this costume cost, it worked perfectly. I didn't give it 5 stars because of a few things: First, the little pads on the bottom of the feet will spin upward if your walking on an angled surface, such as a roof, to pretend your just bouncing from roof top to roof top. Be careful! Second, because the dye or ink used in the material doesn't seem to go below the surface which causes the fabric to turn white as it stretches. So, where ever the material is a tight fit, it's gonna lack color and be more white looking. Third, after zipping this thing up, the zippered part would bow outward when I had my head straight or looked upward, creating a noticeable bulge under the back of the neck. Fourth, the part of the face mask where your mouth and nose are has some kind of red mesh which allows people to see your mouth. If I made these, I would not have that mesh. It would be better being a solid fabric that no one could see your mouth or nose. Fifth, and I don't know how this could be solved, but the mesh where your eyes are is pretty rough seeing out of. It wasn't too bad so I would worry much about it. Just thought it would be worth mentioning. Other than those things, for $35 bucks, meh... who cares. My 4 year old nephew had an awesome time with Spiderman and didn't care about the details! ... show more

    • Great Looking, with a couple drawbacks
I bought the medium size and I am 6'1" 185 lbs and it fits a little snug according to the sizing chart. The color is great and there is a spider graphic on the back. I may have been better off with the large, but it will work out. I am breaking it in as it does need to stretch a little bit. The zipper is not the strongest and the teeth do not lock together too well so you have to make sure you get it zipped all the way down the back of your head so the zipper does not separate. (My head might be a little large too) It is tough to get the costume zipped all the way up, but I used a wire hanger to hook the bottom zipper, grabbed the back of the costume to keep the zipper edges close together and pulled up. Worked like a charm. It is ok to see through, but I figured the vision would be a little blurry. It gets tight around the ankles, again this should correct itself with a little wear. The material is thin, but the seams are well constructed and tough. I wouldn't yank on it too hard though. No problems so far, then again, i have only had it for a day. If there are any other issues, I will post to this review again. If there are none, i will update this review after Halloween 2014. ... show more
