I bought two Princess Leia costumes because the reviews were mixed for bith and because I wear a size 18 and wasn't sure which one would fit. This costume fit great, though the cheap, clingy fabric does not forgive or hide any figure flaws. The wig fit great too and the buns on the side were perfect. The only flaw with this costume is that the fabric is basically transparent. I bought a camisole at Target and decided to wear a pair of white leggings too... Problem solved! This version of the Leia costume has a slit in the skirt on the right side, but it isn't too revealing. This costume is definitely superior to the Rubies Star Wars Princess Leia costume #15244. It is listed as Deluxe, but it is anything but... The wig is horrible - way too small for an adult and the side buns look terrible. That costume fits up to a size 12, but the listing on Amazon did not say so. The belt on that costume is a cheap piece of printed fabric, while the belt on the secret wishes costume is made of molded rubber. The Rubies Leia costume is see through too. I am a 5'9" 200 lb guy and this showed all my curves in such a wonderful way. Belt is cheaper plastic but is worth it. Wig was great quality and I have a large head- which it fit.

My husband got to the box before I did and thought he would be funny. That said, holds its shape well after being worn by a +200 lb man and is machine washable. Like everyone else said, it is see through which may or may not be what you're looking for but a nude tanktop and boyshorts/leggings is a quick fix. ... show more

Nice costume for the price. This is a pretty typical quality Halloween costume. Its a polyester dress, thin Velcro belt, and a low quality wig. Even though, however, it is really nice that you can get everything for one low price.... And it's halloween, so it doesn't need to be perfect. It fits as expected. Its meant to be form fitting, so I don't have much of an opinion on the stretch. I think it it fits as it should. The wig was a little small and I had to keep adjusting it. I do have very long hair so maybe it would fit someone with shorter hair (or a smaller head) better. This costume has survived being worn a few times, and is still in pretty good condition. This costume is dreamy! Comes with all the pieces you see: belt, wig and dress. Fits well, and actually not that super flimsy cheap costume material. This fabric actually has some body and depth, so it was comfortable.
