I bought two Princess Leia costumes because the reviews were mixed for bith and because I wear a size 18 and wasn't sure which one would fit. This costume fit great, though the cheap, clingy fabric does not forgive or hide any figure flaws. The wig fit great too and the buns on the side were perfect. The only flaw with this costume is that the fabric is basically transparent. I bought a camisole at Target and decided to wear a pair of white leggings too... Problem solved! This version of the Leia costume has a slit in the skirt on the right side, but it isn't too revealing. This costume is definitely superior to the Rubies Star Wars Princess Leia costume #15244. It is listed as Deluxe, but it is anything but... The wig is horrible - way too small for an adult and the side buns look terrible. That costume fits up to a size 12, but the listing on Amazon did not say so. The belt on that costume is a cheap piece of printed fabric, while the belt on the secret wishes costume is made of molded rubber. The Rubies Leia costume is see through too. The costume was very comfortable and durable. My only concern was that it is also VERY see through. I would recommend buying a slip to wear underneath.

Even though the size is an XL it fits small. The fabric is a stretch fabric so it seems that it was made smaller to stretch to fit. Because of this, it hugs every curve and dimple. The fabric is very see through and will require underclothes to be worn in public. The dress will fit even tighter after underclothes are added. I'm not happy with this purchase but I probably won't return it... ... show more

I loved the costume itself, though very glad I ordered a size larger. It is thin material, as all costumes are so prepare. My problem was the hair piece. I ordered this for a play. I'm on a time crunch. I received it promptly, and unfortunately there's a very noticeable brown stain on the bottom front panel. Looks like a drop of face make up. Since this is a new product for 32 plus dollars, I spent on a low theater budget, I am a little unhappy. Maybe it's coffee. I will hit it with a stain stick but shouldn't have to on a new product.
