  • Great Costume for Halloween party!
Size: Standard Color: Brown
The costume worked well for what I needed it for. I wasn't interested in the small, revealing ladies costume so I bought the men's costume to accompany my husband as "slimer". The legs are very short and the crotch is very low. I ended up cutting the legs off and making a dress instead because the crotch was just above my knee. The sleeves are very long and baggy but rolling them up was an easy fix. The inflatable backpack was awesome and bigger than I had expected. Everyone at the party loved the pack and it also helps make the costume fit better because of the strap around the waist. Overall it was a good purchase for the price and it was a hit at the party. ... show more

  • Cut Small, Nice Quality, Limp Proton Gun
Size: Standard Color: Brown
Got this for my husband for our Ghostbusters family theme costumes this year and it's decent quality for a $25 costume. It comes with the one piece zip up jumpsuit and the inflatable proton pack/gun. We liked how much the jumpsuit looked like the ones in the movie, but the fit of the costume is a bit small. My husband is 5'11" and 152 pounds and the height of the costume is cut short. It looks like highwaters above his ankles and it rides up in the crotch area. It's not bad enough to be uncomfortable for a couple hours on Halloween though. The proton pack you will need a bike pump to blow up. It's a cute novelty, but loses air over time and the proton gun in pretty limp looking even when blown up all the way. Again, it's fine enough for a few pictures and trick or treating, but by the end of the night loses air. Overall, this is a cute costume, but might be too small for some men. ... show more

  • Good Value
Size: Standard Color: Brown
This is really a good value for the money. The jumpsuit is kind of plain, but there is a ghostbuster logo on it with two pockets with zippers on the chest. I wish it had pockets or openings near the legs, but it doesn't. I got the Standard size - I'm 5'10, 170 lbs, and the fit is very nice with just jeans and a shirt on. It gets a bit snug if I put on extra layers underneath. The blow up proton pack is nice, I had no problems with it inflating or staying inflated for a whole day. after about a week, I put just a couple breaths into it to give it a more sturdy appearance. ... show more

  • Decent for the price
Size: Standard Color: Brown
Four of us went in as a group and bought for of these outfits. They were by no means top of the line, but they generally did the job and it was a relatively cheap and good option. However, we did have a couple problems with two of the costumes. One was missing one of the straps on the backpack, but with a little extra plastic and electrical tape lying around we come up with a quick homemade solution. On another, the gun had a long tear in it and we were unable to fix it, and thus unable to inflate it. Instead we came up with a homemade PKE meter for one of us to carry, so it wasn't too bad since three of us still had guns and it allowed us to add some variety. However, if only one of us had bought a costume, the defective gun would have been a major issue. So if you're buying, be sure to check out everything ahead of time, and make sure all the parts are able to inflate (we made the mistake of just checking to see if everything was there and getting a couple ready, but not checking all of them until we were getting it ready). There are better options out there as far as quality, but they cost more money (I saw some proton packs alone going for over $100). This worked out well for our needs, and fit our budget. If you want the most realistic suit possible, and don't mind spending lots of money, look elsewhere. If you're wanting something quick and easy for not a lot of money, this is a good choice. There is a lot of leeway on the pant leg size, and it will look fine on people of various heights. We had guys ranging from a 29" pant leg to a 34" in our group, and it looked ok on all of us. However, all of us were within our ideal weight range, and the two of us that were a bit on the bulkier side still noticed it was a little difficult getting into the chest (once it was on it was no problem and we had plenty of room, just getting into it was the problem). There is a different plus size that you can buy, so I would recommend that for larger people. The material on the suit is a bit thin, so be sure to wear clothes underneath of it. And when you're done, have a lint roller. There were a ton of little strings left lying on our clothes and the floor when putting them on (once again, not high quality, but looked fine when we had them on). ... show more

  • Awesome Costume if you aren't too Tall
Size: Standard Color: Brown
My daughter was the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man for Halloween, and she wanted everyone to dress up in Ghostbuster's costumes. This was a great costume for me! Loved the blow up proton pack. The jump suite was a bit large. I used the waist straps on the pack as a belt and bloused the top over it, and rolled up the sleeves. It was cold night, so I appreciated the extra room to put a base layer shirt, turtleneck and leggings underneath. I was comfortable, and received lots of complements. A number of Ghostbuster kids were in awe of my gun, 'cause their's didn't come with one :-) I don't think this would fit a large or tall man. I am relatively petite (ie. 5'4" 115 lbs), and while the jump suit was a bit large, there wasn't enough room to accommodate broad shoulders, and most of the length is in the torso rather than the legs. Once I bloused the top up over my belt the length was good. There were a few extra inches "extra", but not enough to go below my shoes. Without a belt you could let the crotch hang lower, but I don't think it would accommodate someone 6 foot or more. I knew that a one size adult costume would be big for me, but it wasn't as overwhelmingly huge as I expected. Great news for me, but it may not work for everyone. ... show more

  • Very Cheap Product
Size: Standard Color: Brown
I don't very often feel the need to review a product on Amazon, but I really hope I can stop other people from purchasing this crap. According to the website, this retails for 39.99 and it was on sale for 19.99. Well, I still feel like I overpaid for this lame excuse for a costume. I didn't have outrageous expectations as far as authenticity, but for the money spent, I at least expected something that would last through the night. As mentioned before, the color of the actual jumpsuit is mustard yellow, not the beige color featured in the pictures on the website, or even on the outside of the packaging. The Ghostbuster emblems had smeared ink, and the material itself was sewn very poorly, resulting in seams that were barely held together. I purchased a standard size. I am 5'11" 195lbs. The first time I sat down, the seam came apart at the crotch. As for the Proton Pack, which is the highlight of the costume, as well as pretty much what makes the costume itself...well, what a joke it was. Upon inflation (which is near impossible to do with anything other than an air compressor) it was already losing air through holes that were in it out of the package. I tried finding those that I could and using the the patch that came with it, but it still lost air as the night progressed. It was not practical to keep blowing it up, so I eventually took it off altogether and threw it away. Also of note on the Proton Pack are the poorly designed straps that are supposed to hold it in place, but which constantly slide off the plastic clips and come undone. I tried using black duck tape to hold them on, but eventually the strap just fell off anyway, and that was with no more aggressive activity than my sitting down. I have bought costumes for a lot less and still been able to hang on to them for any Halloween I may need to wear them again, but this one is already in the trash. What a waste. If you want a good Ghostbuster's costume, you're better off just making your own. ... show more

  • Good price and material. Worth it
Size: Standard Color: Brown
It actually fit pretty well on my 5'8, 140 pound frame. Granted I did have to pad it out with clothes underneath. The material of the uniform was actually pretty good and can easily last and be used again. The blow up backpack also looked pretty good. My only issue would be the separate blowup gun. The barrel part would not inflate or stay inflated to the point I couldn't use it. Still a great affordable costume ... show more

  • Worked out great!
Size: Standard Color: Brown
Bought the one size fits all. I'm a 51 year old female, 5'2 and 170 lbs. Was long in the legs and arms. Just rolled them up. Just fit across the stomach. Was snug around the butt and hips. Lived in it for 3 days across a 4 state scavenger hunt event. Fabric loosened up. Found it was very comfortable and held up great! Two workable pockets, too! ... show more
