A group I volunteer with was having a 'gambling' themed fund raising event. I wore this costume to help attract attention, milling around the large event crowd, selling raffle tickets. Talk about a conversation starter - AND - I raised more money, selling raffle tickets, than they'd recorded than the previous two-years combined. I genuinely believe it was the costume that helped put people at ease, be more a bit more light-hearted and generous in their response to 'The Queen of Hearts' asking if they were interested in purchasing some raffle ticket? queries. The costume itself (card and crown) was super easy to manipulate and walk around in, ran true to it's size; you'll have to buy your own tights (if you want them) and shoes and you may want to get some hair pins for the crown. This, along with a Queen of Hearts wig, helped me WIN the costume contest at my apartment clubhouse. My card playing friends were surprised and their support gave me the win. The costume was comfortable, fun, and well made.

When I opened the Amazon package, I immediately thought I received the wrong costume because its was all red and white polka dots. I really thought they sent me a Minnie Mouse costume until I pulled out of thr plastic bag it came it. It was horrible in quality and is poorly made. Its like a piece of thin felt and is the same material of those egg crate bed toppers used to soften your bed. I immediately folded it back up and proceeded for a refund. Also the crown that come with it was snapped into pieces and not salvageable. Overall, this costume looked horrible and looks homemade for certain! ... show more

This is a simple costume that looks great! We bought this costume because we could wear warm clothes underneath the costume and we still had plenty of room. The costume has nice bright colors and seems like a great quality fabric, very sturdy. The problem I had was with the crown that came with it. I was never able to wear it because it was broken before I got it on my head. That was very disappointing, but I figured I can always get another inexpensive crown else where. The costume was purchased to go along with the king of hearts costume and was meant to be worn as a couples costume. They complimented each other nicely. The fit was a bit sung though, not terrible but tighter that I'd thought it would be. Wouldn't purchase this again. Will look for a better fitting costume in the future with better quality accessories. ... show more
