Very cute shark outfit. Received item and tried contacting and calling seller several times to see if I can return bc size ordered was 2 small. Inside the box was a note from seller that it had to be returned that same day I received costume. Because size was 0-6 but really newborn size. I needed next size up and found it last minute. I also sent several emails to seller bc I live only 25 min away and was willing to return it the same day it arrived by driving it to her home or address on invoice but seller never got in touch or emailed me back. Not professional in my opinion when I was willing to drive up. So I was stuck with it. The snaps on bottom would not stay closed and kept bunching up. We made it work but it was my daughter’s first Halloween and I wanted it to be perfect. Plus it was chilly night down the shore and she was cold even with 2 pairs of pants underneath costume bc of bunching and holding her while trick or treating. Disappointed bc costume was actually really cute. But again not for 6 month at all!

This is the cutest shark costume that I've seen, but as many other reviews mention, be careful about the sizing. I ordered the 'toddler' size for my daughter who just turned 3 and is somewhat on the tall side. The label inside says it fits 1-2 year olds, but I think this is ideal for a 2 year old child. I made a small alteration (added ~4 in of fabric to the bottom closure) and now it fits fine. The rear fins are a bit floppy but I don't think that's a huge issue. Overall it is a good deal and I think it's going to be an awesome halloween costume.

This shark is adorable. Our son is only 7 weeks so I knew it would be a bit big. Regardless of big my child is, the costume has a large back side. It makes for the shape of the shark, but I wish it was stuffed so that the back end stayed puffed out when my kid was in. Still absolutely adorable though.

My baby is 4 months and it fit perfect and I believe there is plenty of room to fit your 5 month old as well just depending on how big of a baby you have. The quality seems great too nothing feels irritating for a baby.

Bought this as a photo prop for a beach baby photo. My 5-month-old is quite small (10th percentile) and the 0-6 month sizing (which was labelled as "newborn" when we received the product) was too small for her, so be careful on sizing. The costume is cheesy and cheap looking, but that's what I was looking for in the photographs.

My daughter wanted this delivered prior to our Labor Day Holiday weekend beach trip. She dressed her 6 month old and sat him on the beach to take some photos. Everyone that walked by wanted a picture and just found the costume adorable and the idea to have him sitting on the beach with the ocean waves breaking.
