As for the costume build and quality, no complaints from this Trekkie. I can't say is its an exact replica of what's worn on screen, but then again my 3-year old doesn't care and frankly, neither do I. The costume looks good and fit her well, she got compliments from various parents at the theme party she attended, and the costume survived everything the gaggle of ewoks threw at it. I was worried especially because of the light weight material the costume is made from, but there was noticeable tears after the party. Added bonus to the light weight material, she was able to bare playtime under the hot sun and Florida humidity. One thing I would recommend is to upgrade the fake belt pouch. A few comments I read on this hinted an issue with the build quality of the fake belt, and sure enough it didn't take much for my wife to create a little tear while inspecting it. That's not to say that the belt doesn't look good, it's actually not bad for a fake pouch. So, if your child is the careful sort, then there's no need to get anything else, but my little girl is no Padme. I preemptively bought this pouch [Daosen Small Canvas Multiple Pocket Adjustable Fanny Pack Travel Waist Bag Hip Purse Belt Bag Bum Bag Brown] as the replacement. While it's not an exact replica, it looks good enough, plus she had an actual fanny pack to store all the midi-chlorians (candy) she could get her hands on during the party. Oh, an pay attention to what others have said about the size. I bought a small costume for my 3-year old and was worried that it might have been too big. Luckily it wasn't and fit her perfectly. Still, I would considering buying a size bigger if your child is in between sizes. Overall, I would have no issue recommending this costume to anyone looking for something similar for their little ones. ... show more

We were not sure how this would hold up for other reviews said it didn't hold up but we didn't have much other options for we needed something with in 2 days for Disney. She had wore this costume 3 days in Disney and twice for Halloween and a few times for just playing dress up. It has been washed and dried 3x and held up no rips or shrinking. The only thing would of been i washed the belt and are things after Disney and the fabric separated but honestly the probably were not supposed to be washed but after all the sweat and sunscreen and water they needed to be. All i did was glued the fabric back on and looks like new again. looks as close as can be to Ray for child costume and for the price cant beat it. ... show more

My 5 year old fit well in the small. The fabric is THIN so we had a rip fairly quickly. I didn't have huge expectations as she just wore it for Halloween. With the belt and arm band it's a really cute costume.

This was perfect for our little one. We had to order a bigger size and all I had to do was trim up the sashes and it worked perfectly. Fine quality for the price. Just what we needed for Halloween.

What a great costume for a great price! My 2.75 year old wore this to comic con. We even met Mark Hamill while she was wearing it! She got so many compliments and looked absolutely adorable. Although the belt and leather "arm thing" are not very realistic, they are great when it comes to being lightweight for a little one. Could absolutely not argue with the price. It exceeded my expectations, as it comes with everything shown but the boots. We had to trim the front "dual sashes", but no biggie. Would absolutely recommend. ... show more

Love it! It fits my 38 lb 3 1/2 yr old perfectly! The belt is super cheap & fell apart, but it was an easy sewing fix. Looks great! For the price, definitely worth it. Runs small

    • Nice but inconvenient
The costume is as shown in the photos. Standard thin poly type material just like most other costumes these days. The only thing I don't like is that it is a one-piece jumper that my daughter has to step into from the neck hole. Very inconvenient for going to public restrooms and a little bit gross.
