After reading reviews from last halloween I was very worried about fitment and was expecting to have tailor it to make it bigger. Maybe the others were way bigger then me or Rubies made them bigger. I am 6'1" tall and 230 lbs, so I ordered the XL. It fits just as I hoped it would, baggy like how it looks on pennywise in the movie. As other reviews have said the included mask is no good, I just doesn't look right and cheap. Rubies sells a perfect replica one for about $30.00 on amazon. Some people complained about the glitter on the vest coming off, its a $35.00 (what I paid) Halloween costume, not an expensive cosplay outfit. I knew when I ordered this that the costume would not fit my chest. I sew so I figured that I could adjust that. So as for the fit, it is definitely made for men and has no stretch to fit a woman with curves. The major problem us the mask. Now let me start by saying I was not buying the costume with the intention of using a full face mask, I prefer make-up. That being said, the mask us UNUSABLE. The way it was packaged made a giant crease down the center of the face. The material is decent, so there is no way to get rid of the crease. The wig part of the mask is not styled at all, the "hair" is just attached as long curly hair and very hard to change into the correct hair style. My end result, I ended buying a bald cap type of mask because the mask was awful and unusable. The rest of the costume is great and worth buying as long you aren't buying it dor the mask. ... show more

It's a good costume, especially for the price. However, it does not come exactly as shown and that's why I'm not rating too highly. The colors and pattern are not as they appear in the product picture. The green, especially, is a darker shade. And do you see how the small pink stripe is right against the purple (just as it looks in the movie)? Well, on this costume, there are green stripes between the pink and purple. The pom-poms are different, too. Instead, they are those craft pom-pom balls. I removed them, bought some orange yarn, and made my own pom-poms. I've customized the costume even further with ribbon, blue satin on the cuffs, and extra ruffles at the bottom of the pants. I usually wear M and I ordered an XL because the movie costume is very poofy, but this one is not as big on me as I'd hoped. As others have mentioned, the glitter on the vest easily falls off, the gloves are a strange fit, and the mask was smooshed. Also, for some reason, tags were put inside the mask which flap right in your left eye. However, I planned on doing my own makeup and not wearing the mask, anyway. It's still a fun costume, and I hope everything turns out well this Halloween! ... show more

It only got 1 star because ...... Every other clown costume I've gotten in an XL normally has a decent fit....... But this one DOESN'T fit AT ALL has NO STRETCH! if you're wearing this for a haunt, the fabric is NOT breathable and it arrived ripped up the front seam... Luckily it was super cheap and I've been wanting to add this to my collection.... However there's sooooo much work I have to do to it to ever be able to even wear it. Esp if I want to be comfortable.... Gloves are wayyyy to small. Fit a small medium adult size hands.. Or a teenagers size.even with the crease, the mask the neck collar.and vest are all my faves.... I can wear them with other costumes and to ME those 3 items were the ONLY thing worth the 16$ I spent... Color of costume is BEAUTIFUL and concept is DOOE but execution is POOR They should state that you need to go up a FEW sizes........ ... show more

Great Costume, super spooky and just love it. The mask is kind of out of whack after being in the packaging for a while but after letting it sit on a something to gain its form back it was great. I'm 190 around 5'10 and a XL was the right fit for me, fits perfectly over shorts and a t-shirt. Would recommend this costume to anyone. Don't be afraid to wear your costume this year, even after the media frenzy of 2016, you gotta be down with the clown. ... show more

    • Get a size up and a full latex mask. Mask included sucks.

The mask is horrible. It is a half mask and It had a bad crease down the middle of it that you can not get out of it. Makes it basically unusable. So I bought a full latex mask that was way better quality. The costume fits small. I’m 5’9” 155lbs and the standard size was tight. When I bent over it felt like it would rip. I exchanged for an xl which fits a little big but feels more secure because it’s not going to rip when moving in it. ... show more

The value for the money really wasn’t worth it. The thickness wasn’t much it was actually pretty thin and it ripped easily the product did fit.
