The mask is a thin foam mask, half a mask, it's ok. It gets a little roughed up in the plastic bag, but, it can be somewhat straightened out. The shirt is ok, too. BUYER BEWARE! NON RETURNABLE, BECAUSE IT'S CRAP! Like some of the other reviews say, the mask is a stiff foam material, and isn't fitting to a person's face. Shirt is cheap material, and the sleeves are likely for a gorilla or orangutan's arms. Not returnable, because they know they are ripping people off. The size of the shirt was not what I expected from the reviews. A few people said it was smaller than expected, particularly in the torso. I ordered the standard expecting it to be smallish because of the reviews, but it was huuuge on me (which is not the sellers fault cause I'm 5'2" and female.) I'd say its between a men's Medium and Large, leaning toward large. Super thin, halloween costume material which I love cause you won't get hot. You can tie it in the back of the neck for it to be tighter/looser. No weird smeller anything. I didn't buy this for the mask so I didn't really worry about it but I'll leave a review anyway. It was not as bad as the reviews made it seem. Pretty decent for the price although veryyyy cheap material. Mine did come with a broken strap but nothing that tape or a stapler couldn't fix. I bought this for Halloween for one of my high school students who is obsessed with Freddy. As you can see, the mask is trash. The neck part is too short to stay in the shirt and way too wide. Adding another closure would probably work, but I just ordered the whole-head mask instead. The shirt is fine and pretty much what I expected—cheap nylon. If your Halloween will be chilly order a size up so you can wear clothing under it! ... show more

This costume was perfect for the money, overall really pleased. Several reviews mentioned the mask, but I just added an extra strap a little lower on the mask to make it pull around the neck and it was perfect! I just used elastic strip and Velcro that I got from Walmart, spent $3 and it made the costume look great! I would definitely recommend this product for the value you can’t beat it. ... show more

The shirt is incredibly thin and cheap. The mask is not usable. It came folded in half and even after laying it out flat, there is still a huge dent/crease and it looks ridiculous. To top it all off, the item cannot be returned! DO NOT BUY!

For the price this is actually better then expected. It does not look as nice as what is pictured so I would urge them to post a more accurate picture. But all in all for Halloween on a budget it is perfect. It is made out of the typical Halloween fabric. Could use a hem where the costume ties but other than that I would buy again. ... show more
