If you are plus size and you really want to be Wonder Woman, I don't want to dissuade you from getting this costume; I just recommend that you invest in a ton of safety pins, and the wig. And I would recommend you don't have high expectations for winning the sexiest costume contest. This costume does NOT impart much sexiness (at least, it was SUPER unflattering on me). I wore this costume for my kids, though, and for that, it ended up doing what I bought it for. I wear size 14 jeans and have a bra size of 40DD; shirt size XL. Overall, I would say I'm a pretty proportionate "plus-size" woman. Dresses fit me in a size 16 or XL. I bought the Plus Size Wonder Woman Costume. The sizing listed on this costume indicated it should fit me. It doesn't. It almost seems like someone made a mistake with the proportions of this costume. The hip area of the costume fits me snugly. The bust part of the costume is so loose that it's comical. It's like I was an upside-down bell. There is an elastic band in the back that I imagine is supposed to allow a little bit of give, but the result is that there is a big parachute of extra fabric on the back. I don't imagine anyone would actually fit into this costume unless their body is in the shape of an upside down triangle. I also have a short-torsoed body, and the torso of this costume is incredibly long. The belt hits at the hips, and the straight corset part of the costume does not hug my natural waist, so the costume ended up looking very unflattering on me, with the corset part folding over and hiking up at my natural waist and looking bulky and awkward. I kept having to adjust. I managed to help the costume fit better by securing it to my strapless bra with safety pins, and then cinching it together in the back so it didn't gap or balloon out. I felt really thankful I had the wig, because it drew attention away from how oddly the rest of the costume fit. Another couple of weird details about this costume: the gauntlets were not the same size. One was tighter than the other. My arms are not thin, and I fear that if they were any thicker, the tighter gauntlet might not have fit. The boot covers don't work unless you have boots underneath. I tried them on my bare legs and they were just way too loose. Maybe they were intended to be worn over boots, but if they were intended to be worn over bare legs then this is another problem with sizing. I have large calves, knees, and thighs, and the fact that the boot covers wouldn't stay over my legs was odd. Apart from the sizing, the overall quality of this costume is what one would expect from a $30 Halloween costume. It didn't fall apart on me, which was nice. I appreciated being able to dress as Wonder Woman for my kids. I would love if the company could put a little more thought into their "Plus Size" sizing.

The size chart says this should fit sizes 14-16; I am usually a size 16 or 18 depending on the clothing manufacturer so I was worried this would be too small. However, I actually found it was just a bit loose for me. The "boot" leg pieces are too loose for my legs (which are admittedly pretty chubby) and there isn't any sort of sticky band on the top of the leg pieces to help them stay up, so they slide down and bunch up like legwarmers when I walk. The arm pieces are too long and a bit too skinny for my forearms, so I can't really wear them. The seams on the inside of the corset section are a little itchy, and there is a sort of foamy lining so it could get pretty sweaty if you don't wear anything under it. However, all that said I still really like it. I bought it to wear in a superhero-themed race, so I will need to make a few adjustments to keep everything from falling off as I run, but it will be perfect for what I need. I bought this on sale after Halloween so I got a great deal; I'm not sure I would have been as delighted with it if I had paid full price.

I ordered the Secret Wishes DC Comics Wonder Woman Plus Size Adult Costume to wear in a halloween race I will participate in this year. I am 5'7" and a size 16 or 18 (currently shrinking). QUALITY: The costume is beautiful with vivid colors. FIT: The very first thing I checked when I opened the package, was if the costume had a place to attach any kind of strap. I saw pictures of a wonder woman costume with clear straps and thought that this one would either come with the straps or at least have a place to attach the straps. It does not have a place to attach any kind of bra strap. Due to the fact that I want to wear the costume during a race, I need the support of straps (to hold the top up over a sports bra). Since I had already tried on another costume from the same brand in the same size, I knew the top would probably be too big. No bra straps and top (probably) too big means I returned the costume without even bothering to try on the rest. I do hope my review helps someone. I really thought it would come with a place to at least attach bra straps. Sadly, it did not.

Bought this for my lady, it was ok, did the job, but there are some definite items to make note of. The costume, being a plus size, fit a plus size just fine, depending what your size and body type is. It says, 14/16, but, like i say, depending on your body type, it could be big or small. My lady is bigger than that and it fit her fine. The belt was smaller and very snug, would be better if the belt size was closer in size to the rest of the costume or at least have an additional velcro strip to adjust size. The boot covers were not exactly the right size, if anyone is smaller shoe size than an 11, they may be too big on you, they do not stay up perfectly or around the foot perfectly, but do definitely make the costume more complete. AND, one important thing missing is the golden truth lasso, that would be a key component to have with the costume, as it was a major part of wonder woman's super power. All in all, it worked out just fine, nothing that you can't make work if it fits you.

My husband loved it and so did I. The only thing that i didn’t like is that the velvet material is glued on to some sort of sponge and it gave me extra bulky stuff on the side of my ribs and waist. But it probably was because it did fit bigger on me. I saw on the pictures of other reviews that their belt rolled up, so i sewed my belt to the dress i just did the bottom front panel. I left the rest alone and it worked perfectly. The shoe covers are a nightmare they kept lifting off my boots but maybe next time i will add velcro or something. The cuffs where big as well so i also sewed them tighter and they looked great.
