It is a little cheesy looking, but is good for the money. Better looking ones are like over 3 times as much. Easy to put on, fit is good. Kids will still love seeing you wear.

My husband had been wanting to dress up as batman for a while now. Initially, i was planning on making him the costume myself but i just didn't have time. I ordered this one the week before halloween and it quickly arrived 2 days later. He tried it on, and like many said before me, the crotch area was SUPER tight (My husband is 6'4", 190 lbs for reference). He's normally a large but can sometimes fit in a long medium since he's skinny but super tall so i thought i'd be ok with a large...nope. We ordered an x-large instead and that one fit a lot better. The bottom is simply too small but then the top is the opposite extreme and is HUGE! The XL shoulders fit about half way down his arm, almost to the elbow and his chest looked abnormal. As a quick fix, i attached two pieces on ribbon to the inside of the chest, right under his arm pits, and he was able to tighten the chest so that it looked somewhat normal. The chest piece is made up of a tough but pliable foam. i have a feeling if it was stuck in the same folded position, it would eventually stay in that same folded position so careful where its stored! the arms and legs are a stretchy, cheap material (think lycra) but he said they weren't itchy. He wore some *ahem* support briefs so that the he wouldn't provide his coworkers with a free show (not as tight as the large but that fabric is still unforgiving) and also had a to wear a black tshirt since the back is only 3 little velcro pieces that often came undone. The belt is easily the cheapest thing i've ever seen (soft plastic pieces glued together to kind of resemble a belt) so if he wears it again, i'm definitely taking that plastic thing off and buying him a better one. The little pieces sticking out in the arms were folded up and stuck out in weird angles so i tried my best to fix those with some ironing. Made it passable but definitely not super cool looking. The suite is all 1 piece with the cape/head piece separate. This meant every time my husband had to go to the bathroom, the whole thing had to come off...he wasn't pleased about that part but still enjoyed it so much he couldn't complain. Aside from the belt, the headpiece and cape were my least favorite thing. I liked the overall look of the headpiece (same hard foam as the chest) but the ears just looked super lame. Just 1 piece of foam (that often bent) sticking up. I'm going to try and stuff them so that they'll look a little more menacing. The cape is just ugh. I bought a $10 cape from amazon that was 100x better than this. This thing is flimsy, see though, and half the time you don't even notice it because it does not billow out and it doesn't go over his shoulders. its about 1.5yds wide so its literally just a long piece of black fabric that hangs on the back. I will definitely be buying him a new cape if he wears it again. Overall, i'm happy with the overall product (especially since i didn't have to make one from scratch). When i have the time, some small improvements can definitely make it look more awesome. Overall, i got what i paid for. ... show more

The mask and cape that comes with it sucks so I cut the cap off of from the mask and bought different mask and it’s not so bad I’d give it a 7-10 rating not bad for the price definitely gonna spend real money and buy the $200 one on here just cause now I wanna have the real deal outfit. But this works for now. ... show more

It was such a good quality costume for the price! Got complimented on his batman suit all night and even though the neck fit tight when he sat down and i had to use my flat iron on the ears to get them to stand up a little more straight, it was a really good costume for 50 bucks. My bf is 6’2 and an average/muscle build so the Large seemed huge at first but it fit him perfect since he was able to fill it out but if he would’ve been any thinner we probably would’ve spring for the medium just because of how much space there was for the chest area. ... show more

I can't really comment on the head/cape and belt as it was not in the packaging when I got it. (Was kinda upset, but AMAZON fixed it for me!) Anywho, the jumpsuit...as many have said, the chest is fairly large. I am a big dude, 6' 245lbs and the chest was still too wide. I realize that they have to make them to appease a variety of body styles. So I still give it four stars because other than that the suit was pretty decent for the price. The sut is made of a polyester material with the gauntlets blade built in. Tho the arms were a little long on me, I just took up the excess material and wore some cool black gloves that kinda finished the look. The velcro fasteners on the back of the suit are stretched to their capacity when you bend over and come apart and I heard a slight rip of the fabric as I bent over. That is from the crotch lol. Because while the chest is large for a 50" chest even, the bottom half was just about right, except for the crotch. The legs were perfect. I wore only underwear and a t-shirt under the suit. One of the worst things is the boot covers. Apparently, this suit is made for large chested, short waisted, small footed people. I wear a 10 1/2(Not that large), the cover has a stretchy piece of material which is supposed to go over your foot and keep the cover in place. The cover was too small and when I put the first one over it broke. But that just might be user error. Anywho, all in all, except for the aggravation of not having the cape and mask in the package, the suit is pretty cool. Amazon fixed the problem by offering a separate mask and cape and refunding a portion of my order to make the difference. Kudos to Amazon for stepping up.
