My daughter is always telling me how cold she is at school, and they are not allowed to keep their jackets/coats on. I got this sweatshirt for her to have an extra layer for warmth over t-shirts or long sleeves, and the zipper makes it easy for her to take off if she gets too hot. The material is soft and thick and will definitely provide a cozy feeling. I like that it has pockets, but they are small. She won't really be able to fit anything in them other than her hands. The reason I took a star off is because this runs really big. My daughter (45" 44lbs) wears this size, 5-6, in other clothes, but I had to roll these sleeves up twice so they weren't falling over her hands. While this does mean it will fit well over other shirts, it also means I have to look for a different, smaller cover-up for this year. This will be nice for when she grows a bit more.

With cooler weather on the horizon, it’s time to start planning layers. This 1/4 zip sweatshirt is a good layering piece to take the chill out of outdoor time. My daughter generally wears size 5/6 in most items so that’s what I ordered in this sweatshirt. I found the sleeves to be disproportionately long versus the length of the body. The styling around the shoulders amplifies the ill-fitting arms. I tried cuffing the sleeves, but they still look off. Aesthetic aside, this sweatshirt should be a cozy layer for playing outside as the temps become cooler.

My daughter was really excited to see I got this sweatshirt. She's into very casual looks right now and just wants to be comfortable. She loved walking around in this, sticking her hands in her pockets, and checking herself out in the mirror. She said it was very comfortable and it was definitely cute on. True to size. I took one star off because I felt like the gold hardware looked a little tacky. She didn't seem to notice, but I did. It just cheapened it a little. Regardless, if she will wear it, I'm happy.

I wasn’t sure if my daughter would like this sweatshirt bc it’s actually pretty thick but she does! She’ll wear it in the car instead of a coat or jacket and it keeps her very warm she says. It’s a quarter zip front with a fun circle metal ring to zip up or down with. Sturdy and well made zipper & sweatshirt. Very soft on the inside. It runs a little big but that’s great so she can wear a shirt underneath and she’s got room to grow. Pretty pink color as shown!

This sweatshirt is very snuggly! It’s warm with some weight to it. It will be excellent for layering in the cold weather that is coming soon. It’s still warm here but my daughter wanted to wear it outside anyway! The half-zip design is cute, the color is exactly as pictured. On the outside the material is a bit stiff, and it’s very soft inside. As you wash it it will soften up more on the outside.
