As the title says, great idea but terrible execution. It might work well for smaller beds but for my queen I couldn’t even get the damn thing together. The plastic pieces don’t fit together well, and then as it gets longer, the floppier it gets, and the pieces you do manage to get together start coming apart. Find a better way to secure the pieces together and it’ll be great.

I thought I was buying more of a solid piece to use as a bunkie board and i got a box full squared pieces you have to try to fit together. I do not recommend this as all.

We have a cat who likes to rip and tear at box springs and mattresses from beneath the bed. My sons twin bed is pretty high off the ground and I haven't found any of those pet blocks to go around the bottom of the bed that will keep her out and still let us use under the bed for toy storage. These boards come in little squares that you install over the slats of your existing bedframe. They would not replace the lack of wooden slats on your frame like you could with a solid piece of plywood. But with these installed, there is a little less sag and give in his mattress around the middle and my cat can no longer access the mattress from under his bed. No more damage from kitty. They are easy to pack up when moving unlike a large board, and they will extend the life of my sons mattress greatly due to a cat with zero bedroom etiquette.

Cheap plastic that takes awhile to put together like a puzzle and then it’s too small for a twin bed. It slides all around with mattress on it. Terrible product. Wish I read reviews as I wouldn’t have purchased it

Had to use a rubber mallet to click these squares together, impossible to just use your fingers. Maybe these work well on a standard box spring. But we bought it for a foldable metal mattress platform and it slides around. Had to use zip ties around the edges to keep the mattress from sliding each time you roll over in bed.

I needed this bunkie board, can't even get it together. Really cheap

It took me over an hour put this 'thing' together. 1. Its just a box of square plastic pieces. No instructions. I regularly cracked the connectors trying to put it together (please see pictures). I did find out that there is an easier side for insertion specifically the side that's cleaner of plastic chads from the mold it uses. If you are unfortunate to get this product as well, it should be clear. 2. I had hoped it would prove effective at keeping light mattresses from moving around on the slats. It did not. It had no effect despite its advertising that it would. There are no "grain bumps" on any of these pieces. 3. It is advertised as DIY. And certainly you do. But its uncomfortably assembled and since its so tight with small tolerances, the pieces regularly break. It takes far too long to make. 4. I tried it both in a queen size formation and a twin size. It didn't work on either. Final thoughts: Don't buy it. Spend your money on either buying a new frame to fix your slats problem, or buying a better mattress. It is a waste of money.
