I would generally say that this is an excellent budget choice if you're looking for a HUNK of moissanite, but only if you've got the equipment and eyeballs to check for damage so you can return if there's a problem. The band here is marked 925 and does not react to a magnet. All 3 stones pass a thermo tester pen with zero issues, and there is clear double refraction (which is easier to see in larger stones, especially in more open settings like this basket). No issues with the materials. The weight here feels lighter than it should, and I suspect there's a hollow core somewhere in the metal. That's not necessarily fatal. The stones themselves are of reasonable quality, but the big one in the center has one tiny and one not so tiny chip right at the girdle. This is not an uncommon issue with moissanite, but it's not something that should exist on a brand-new piece. There are no signs of wear at all on this piece, so I don't think this is a wear and tear issue as in a piece that's worn and unethically returned. The larger chip is right under one of the double prongs, which leads me to believe that it's setting damage. The other, smaller one could well be the same. In any event, neither should get past a trained eye and into a box headed out to a consumer. Without the chips, $150 (at time of review) isn't a bad price for a moissanite of this size, even in a kind of skimpy setting. With the chips, it's well, WELL overpriced.
