I wanted to give this item the benefit of the doubt, based on the mixed reviews. The top of the table came scratched. The legs didn’t line up and connect with the screws. I’m 99% done with my kitchen remodel (pardon the unfinished switches and outlets in the photo) and needed a small table for a corner nook. I wanted something inexpensive and modern. This table achieves both of those. Assembly was simple. Another reviewer said they had issues with hole alignment. I know exactly what their issue was - the top legs need to be inserted into the bottom legs FULLY to get the table top hole alignment. Once each piece is snapped in entirely, everything aligns perfectly. Legs are sturdy steel and it sits on the floor evenly with the floor adjusters screwed all the way in, the center tray piece is convenient for a magazine or book and the table top looks sharp! No, it isn’t real wood. At this price point, it’s a great value for what it is however. Highly recommended! ... show more

    • Looks nicer than it is
Putting it together was simple enough, even with the mislabeled pieces. That is, until, we reached the point where we had to connect the top to the bottom. 3 out of 4 legs connected, no problem. But the 4th Would. Not. Go in. We tried rotating the legs to see if that was the issue. No dice. We decided to connect the 3 and hammer the 4th leg into place by force. As soon as we did, one of the other legs would pop out. And when we put that one back into place, another would pop out. It was like a game of whack-a-mole. Once we finally got all 4 legs lock into place, the fit was so tight, two of the screws on the bottom shelf ripped right out of the press board. When we finally turned it upright, one of the legs was obviously shorter than the other, resulting in a significant wobble. Fine. Nothing a little wood glue and furniture pad can’t fix. But for the price, I don’t think it should have to be Frankensteined together. Also worth mentioning, all the little nails that are connecting the slices of wood on top of the table must have been too long, as they can be seen and felt on the surface of the table. All in all, the table looks great from a distance but is poorly made. At least the one I got, anyway. We ended up keeping it because it would have been too much trouble to disassemble and return but I definitely wouldn’t purchase again. ... show more

It was easy to put together and looks nice, but not the most sturdy table if you are going to lean on or doing anything with...

    • Not well made… use decorative only…
Very cheaply made…. Put together and one screw pulled the anchor out so not usable, peeling side and wobbly even with adjustment of the “feet”…. Sent back!
