This seems a little bit roomier than other 5x shirts I get from Amazon, but I wouldn't call it too big. The material is soft and washes nicely. I haven't noticed any balls of cotton on it, like some others so its a great run so far. Its on the thicker side, but not heavy so I am impressed with the material they used to be honest. I ordered the teal color and it looks just like the picture. It didn't fade in the washer. The only thing I wan to warn purchasers about, doesn't bother me, but maybe for some it might be bothersome. The sleeves are longer than a normal t-shirt sleeve in my opinion. It has a double layer of ruffle on each sleeve that overlap. If these weren't there, then the sleeve length would be normal. They added about 1.5 to 2 inches with the ruffle. I am 5'10, so the sleeves come just at the top of the elbow area, so its totally fine, but if you are shorter just a heads up. This shirt is soft and of a decent weight, meaning that it feels like it will last. I got the teal color and it is really pretty. The sleeve length is about a half sleeve with a ruffle at the end. It is comfortable and the ruffle is at a nice length where it is not a hassle to work in, some decorative ruffles actually get in the way and this one is just right. The shirt is a low hassle shirt, washes with similar clothes and still looks good even if you don't fold it, which I never do. ... show more

I ordered this top for a casual way to dress up some leggings. I like the ruffle on the sleeve. This gives it more style than a plain t-shirt. The longer length helps cover my mid-section. The material feels okay. It's a little thick, so it doesn't breathe as well as I'd like, but it's not too heavy. The turquoise is a pretty color. Size is generous (I could have even gone down a size). My main reason to reduce a star from top rating is because it's not easy to launder. It can't go in the dryer and it comes out of delicate/gentle cycle with wrinkles that don't all hang out. Pretty and nice soft material. Ruffle sleeve is a nice added feature to an otherwise very simple shirt. The sleeve falls nicely on the arm. Fits true to size. The material is so smooth though, it doesn't disguise any lumps or bumps. The v-neck is a little unflattering on my shape as well. I really like this top. The fabric felt very soft and nice on my skin. I like the color. It is cool on hot days. Best of all it drapes pretty well to show what I want and hide what I don’t. I should share a little context… I’m a (let’s just say) “big boned” almost 6ft tall gal with the dreaded apple body shape. This makes it particularly difficult to find items that look nice and fit well. This top draped better than some other V-neck Tee’s I have. The one I got is accurately sized. It drapes in a flattering way. The length is quite good for a tall gal like me. I like the ruffles but mine do not look so nicely draping as the one in the product photo. Maybe if I ironed them out… No forget that, I’m not getting my iron out for this. I’m pretty pleased with this top. Having an apple body type it’s hard to find clothes that fit well and are flattering. This relaxed is a find for me. I think it will also work well on the more common pear body shape as well. I love the color and design of this top. The ruffle sleeves add a little flare to the top. However, there is some fitted fabric underneath the sleeve. Normally I wouldn't mind this, and it's plenty comfortable, however aesthetically, it looks a little unexpected. Not something you typically see with such a pretty ruffle.
