I have been wearing them almost daily to the skate park for about two weeks. Previously, they got about 15 hours in a dirty, oily warehouse and a few hours at a white beach. I’ve learned about cleaning the bearings, so I regularly remove the wheels with the provided tool and wipe clean the surface buildup on the bearings. I have the factory bearings and they do not break apart enough to truly return to their original quality. As long as you wipe them often (I also spritz the bearings with stainless steel polish periodically too 🤷🏻♀️), you’ll get lots of life out of these. Definitely get more than you pay for. Regardless, I’ve been going really fast at an outdoor skatepark, taking ramps, and these guys have really held up. I’ve soaked the boots in sweat sometimes twice a day and try to do a good job of letting them air out. Today, I noticed that one of the lace eyelets are broken, so I now know it’s a matter of time until the laminated “leather” starts to break down. No matter, for the price, these are great skates for dabbling with before taking the full plunge into skating. The boot fit super true to size with minimal socks on. Stopper is wearing down a little, which is to be expected. Con: after a really heavy-use day at the skate park, my foot was hurting. After investing, I learned that the paper thin insole had shifted and I was pressing down on metal rivets, attaching the trucks to the boot. It hurt. I added my work insoles (Dr Scholls) and haven’t noticed anything at all anymore. ... show more

Mines actually came with the bag and tools. But the wheels are DEFINITELY NOT MADE FOR OUTDOORS. I've tried adjusting them and I've been skating for some years. It sucks that I now have to buy actually outdoor wheels for my skates. Sometimes you really just have to spend the money

The skates are a good fit and aesthetically pleasing. I was disappointed when using them for the first time at a skating party and three wheels will not light. Two on the right skate and one on the left. **UPDATE** I was tightening the wheels on my skates and now all of them light up. Not sure what the deal was but I’m good with them now. I bought these roller skates for my wifes' 75th Birthday. I also got her a Hula Hoop. She didn't care for either and told me so with a look of contempt and pure hate I have seen only in my sister eyes. I told her that when I was a little boy, I liked a girl, Samantha, but couldn't afford to buy her roller skates or a Hula Hoop, so in doing so with my one true love that is my wife of 31 years, I was fulfilling a promise that I made to myself; that one day I will be able to buy my girl a pair of skates. They are very comfortable and great beginner skates as I am 51 and I have not skated in about 30 years so here I go again into my teenagers. Hope I don’t hurt myself, but I highly recommend the skates to anyone.
