This has everything I was looking for in a bookcase. There are boards in the side and back so your books don’t fall off. The shelves are a gorgeous dark color and very strong. I’m not concerned about the shelves bending due to weight. It took me about an hour to put it together and it was very easy. The box was packaged very well so everyone fit in a small space without damaging anything. The box also had a protective strip under where you cut open the box so that you didn’t cut into the bookcase. Assembled easily and fairly quickly. Nice overall appearance and sturdiness. Directions were clear. My only gripe is the numbered stickers on the wooden parts. They peal off the metal easy enough but you have to use a blade and solvent to get them off the wood shelves.

Anyone can do the first steps themselves but securing the side rails to the long board is a two person job. The shelf is very sturdy and quite strong. It looks very good and I love the it has railings to keep the books from falling out. The instructions were very good. It is an attractive bookshelf.

I'm so excited about this bookcase, I have needed a place to store my books for a while and I love it! First off it looks amazing, I love how it has the hangers you can attach to whichever side you want. I use them to hang my Challa purses off of. It fits my space perfectly! and it's pretty sturdy too, I'm not worried about it falling over at all. It wasn't too bad to put together it took me a few hours. I did not need a drill to put this together I just used the allen wrenches and things that came with it. ... show more
