It has been years of searching for my cup of stars. It is a larger sized mug, perfect for hot brews on cold gray and foggy mornings. I have had it for a couple of months and while not my daily coffee mug, I have an array to choose from, it has been used several times and so far kept it's colors just fine. I absolutely love the look of this mug. It's nice to have a cup of tea and see the moon and stars pattern fade to darkness toward the bottom. I was somewhat concerned that the stars might rub off or become damaged when I stir drinks with a metal spoon, but I have been using the mug for a while now and I've had no such issues. Because it is so wide rather than tall, hot drinks have quite a bit of exposed surface area and they cool off faster than with other mugs I own. I find this to be a good thing, because my tea can get to my optimal drinking temperature faster, but it's worth keeping in mind that a drink probably won't stay piping hot as long.
