  • Good boots
Size: 10 Color: Brown/Black
Decided to try these boots because I work outside a lot during the winter. I needed something warmer than what I had. After reading all the reviews, I decided to order a size larger than what I normally wear. Even wearing heavy socks, they were way too big! Had to return them for my normal size and with heavy socks they fit great and are very comfortable! Feet stayed warm even when temps dipped to -20 degrees! The return was flawless and my normal size was received within a couple of days! ... show more

  • Great boot
Size: 10 Color: Brown/Black
Rocky boots have never disappointed me. Great product! Kept my feet warm and dry during a heavy snowstorm. Well worth the money to have dry and warm feet. Snow was 2 feet deep and never intruded into the boots. The fit was a little large but I was only wearing one pair of thin socks. Need to wear thicker socks with sock liners. ... show more

  • Keeps feet warm but a little bulky
Size: 13 Color: Brown/Black
First off I couldn’t be the price for these boots, it shocked me to find a very reasonable price for name brand hunting boots. I’ve used rocky boots in the past for work so I knew they would be of great quality. After sitting all day in the low teens during the morning my toes stayed warm the whole time. They fit perfectly and have lots of support, my one foot requires support and I had plenty! My only issue that I personally had is I use a climber tree stand and the boots are kinda big and bulky. I guess the trade off for having 1200 grain of insulation. That made it hard for my feet to fit into the straps to use tree stand. Other then that I can’t complain, I’d rather have that issue that have cold feet any day for it’s a good trade. I definitely recommend these for the everyday hunter ... show more

  • Like others have stated before me
Size: 8 Color: Brown/Black
Like others have stated before me, these boots do run large. I got a size down from my usual size 9 and they're still a touch big. They fit perfect once I double up on socks so it's not that big of a deal. That aside, the warmth these things provide is amazing. I was expecting the majority of the warmth to be focused in the foot portion of the boot, but the shaft is remarkably well-insulated and keeps my shins toasty. The shaft on these boots is slightly tilted forward, though, which makes for an awkward gait at first but it gradually breaks in. Prior to purchasing these, I owned a pair of Sorel Caribous for seven years that finally bit the dust. These are infinitely warmer and more comfortable than the Sorels ever were and I'm impressed by their waterproof qualities so far. I waded through ankle deep water and I didn't feel a damn thing. One notation I would make is that you should invest in some longer than usual socks. Crew boot socks don't really work with these as the interior cuff is rather scratchy and uncomfortable on your calf with extended wear. I'll update my review if anything major changes, but so far, these are tough-as-hell looking/feeling and should last me through many brutal Minnesota winters. ... show more

  • They work as advertised, comfy and warm
Size: 10 Color: Brown/Mossy Oak
These were recommended by co-workers, and indeed they are great. Not cheap, but excellent workmanship, decent fit, and really keep my feet warm in the snow and cold. A definite must for anybody who will need to stand around in snow or ice.

  • Outstanding Comfort
Size: 10 Color: Brown/Black
Theses boots fit very well, I normally wear a 10.5-11 and have ordered a 10M after reading a few reviews. The tens fit great and allows me to wear a heavy wool sock in the cold months. As these have not been through a hunting season yet I can’t speak to how they’ll hold up. But, I will say they are not as heavy in weight on my foot as I expected. I will not use them for a ton of walking except to get in my stands. However they would also not be a pair of boots I’d want to hike in as they are heavier than the pair I wear for that. ... show more

  • NOT for general hiking off snow.
Size: 13 Color: Brown/Black
Nicely built. Rugged looking. Waterproof. Warm. Nicely cushioned over top of foot. Like lacing system but a little difficult to get secure. Weakness is the sole and insole. Bought these to replace Bugaboos that are cold and have a thin sole that you can feel every rock thru. First walk with these was paved and they felt great. Next walk was on old logging trail. Several problems became apparent: 1) sole lacks warmth of upper, despite reflective insole, 2) insole is thin and provides no cushioning, 3) the "rim" of the sole inside the boot is raised which puts pressure on the sides of the feet and forced the length of the middle of your foot into a trough. Uncomfortable and created hotspots on sides of foot, 4) despite the aggressive vibram-like outside, the sole is quite soft. At first I thought it was a cushioned sole but it isn't. You can feel every rock and obstacle. It must be for traction in snow and ice. The result is that this IS NOT a boot for comfortable general hiking. Love everything about the boot except the sole. ... show more
