I usually buy a size 10.5 wide but last time it was a bit wide for me so I bought a classic 10.5. And at first it was a little tight but after a few days it worked out and it's really good. I hope it will last a long time, I really like Rockport shoes.

These Rockport shoes fit and feel perfect. This brand is simply the best shoe out there for the price. I do not buy any shoe but Rockport. I have Rockport shoes that have lasted 18 years without having to fix or replace anything on them, including the laces. And I still wear them. This company has always made an exceptionally fine product at an amazingly low price. I have walking shoes, wing tips and loafers. The soles last, the stitching lasts. I wear a size 10W. When I first try on the shoes, they fit a little snug. But within a day or two of walking them, they fit perfectly to my feet. You can't go wrong with Rockport.

These are a great compromise between a dress and casual shoe. Specifically, I like the thicker plastic sole and the fact that it does NOT have that raised edge at the back of the heel so many casual shoes have. I have standard width feet and this is a standard width shoe.

But, what is anymore. These were billed as "China" and came as "Bangladesh". Not sure that matters. What does matter is there is hardly any support, especially toward the front of the shoes. Very uncomfortable for walking around the box store. I'll try and stuff some sort of aftermarket junk in there. Should have sent them back, but usually try and not be that way. Actually expected what I got and that speaks volumes. The leather is light and flexible. I will say that. Fit is acceptable for length and width. Guess that's worth 3 stars. I'll wear them to doctors or visiting friends and keep sports shoes for walking. I have Rockport shoes from over 20 years ago that are still serviceable. These will not last. Glued on molded vinyl sole is really cheap looking, but at least they did not mark up the kitchen floor. I paid $90 and see they are now up to $115. Waste your money if you wish.
