This is my first time purchasing shoes online for me. Initially, I was anxious whether I will get a good fit as I dislike sending things back and wasting both time and energy for transportation. I was curious about the Rockport brand as I always used Clark or Bass as they are more available in local stores. The shoes that arrived are of very good quality. The shoe tops have probably similar look and feel like Clarks. I will be able to tell about the durability in a year or two, it is too early now. The shoe bottoms seem to have somewhat better mechanical properties but it is difficult for me to put a finger on it. I think I purchased slightly too large, or maybe correct length but a little too wide. However, after one week of wearing or so my feet get used to it and I don't notice that anymore. I wear them all day long to work. I don't do too much walking at work. though, barely five thousand steps a day or so. Also, I am using additional inserts and I moved them immediately to these new shoes. So I cannot tell much about the original shoe inserts that came with the shoes. It is winter now and the traction on ice is OK, but I was not expecting any miracles as they are not advertised as a high anti-skids. ... show more

I qlwas looking for dress shoes that are also confortable for sizable amount of walking around New York City. Seems this was the best choice. These are probably the most comfortable and supportive dress shoes I event had! Almost on par with sneakers.... At first I was concerned the opening was too tight, but it qas just about right and really hold by feet as I walk the city. It's not the prettiest shoes I had, but I would pick those over anything else. Highly recommend ... show more

These are my third pair of Rockports (used for a casual office environment). Very comfortable as I walk about 9,000 steps daily. Both black and medium tan colors wear well. You can feel the leather quality slightly diminished between this pair I just bought and the pair it is replacing. But it fits very well (size 10.5) and the cushion and sole make for comfortable wear. As an aside, Docker also makes a similar shoe that is as comfortable. Having a comfortable pair of shoes is extremely important to me, being that I wear them every day for work. I found the original Leader Lesner style Rockport shoes a while ago and have been extremely happy with them. Recently I have been unable to find the original Leader Lesner style (most likely discontinued), so when I found this model, the "Leader 2" on Amazon, I figured I would give it a shot. This shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have worn in a long time, I find it even more comfortable than the original Leader Lesner style. I highly recommend it! ... show more

Highly recommend Rockport shoes as they are light weight. When getting the right size you'll find these shoes fit very comfortably and will last a very long time. I've been using Rockport's for over 25 years and find them to be at an excellent slip on shoe made with flexible materials, constructed of stylish leather and a squared shaped toe. These shoes were $79.00 several years ago and the price has remained the same. Lets hope this continues or even becomes less. All and all it is a great buy for 2022! ... show more

Very comfortable shoes. I started having arch support issues and pain and was looking for a solid shoe with good support. I had wore Rockports in the past when I worked in the ER but now sitting behind a desk most of the day I wasn't sure I needed them. I was wrong. I tried adding high end supports to my other dress shoes but this just made them too tight. I decided to go back to tried and true Rockports and they worked great. My pain is almost gone and I have only had them a couple of weeks. As with other reviews the fit was a little narrow at first but after a week it loosened up and feels great.
