I've owned other Rockport models and they have been great but this one is better. Very comfortable for all day wear (12-16 hours). Some reviewers complained about them only lasting a year or less but I rotate my shoes, never wearing them for more than one day. All shoes last longer if they are allowed to 'rest' for a day or two after wearing them for a full day. This allows the moisture to dissipate and the shoe to keep its shape. Good arch support out of the box. I normally buy separate supports for all my shoes but have not done that for these yet. They are very comfortable...they fit to size. I'm a 8.5..they are a perfect fit. The only odd thing is the that tongue is shorter than expected. I can live with that....the pine cone color is great!

I wanted a pair of walking sneakers that looked a little dressy - and these fit the bill. Very comfortable and fit well. My only issue is that the laces are a bit difficult to tighten due to the floating loopholes and that the roundness of the laces make them prone to coming loose if you don't pull them as tight as you can. ... show more

I have absurdly short and wide feet. I actually worked selling shoes for a number of years JUST so I could find the proper fit. Out of 6 pairs I ordered from Amazon, these were the only ones I kept. Wore them on a 6-day trip after minimal break-in and they were perfect. No pressure, decent support, look nice. Since I have now bought three pair of these I must like them. I walk a lot. Each pair of shoes last me about 6 months and 1400 miles. I walk 7-8 miles a day every day. Towards the end the support is not as good. The wear points are the padded band above the heal wears out. The material is not as good as I would like and so wears through. The heal also is very worn down by the end and is the real reason I have to throw them out. I do wish the harder rubber heal was twice as thick as it is or of a tougher material. The softer rubber material wears very quickly of course but is needed for cushioning. Overall good shoes. I plan to add some pictures of 1400 miles on these shoes. The uppers, stitching and front soles are all still in very good condition. The manufacturing is very good. If the heal and padded band were made better I would pay 50% more for these as they would last me twice as long. ... show more
