These shoes look very nice and I've bought several Rockports over the years. These shoe are just right in the size 10 length but way too narrow. Normally I wear a size 10, and have for about the past 35 years, and I have never bought a size 10 wide. However, these are very tight and start to hurt my feet just trying them on, so I'll definitely need to exchange them for a size 10 wide. Still giving them 5 stars because they are nice shoes. ---- Update, size 10 wide is a PERFECT fit! Very comfortable, great shoe! Side by side with my other shoes, this 10 wide appears to be about the same visible width as my other 10 regular shoes, where the Rockport size 10 regular visually appears to be more narrow before I ever tried them on. I like everything about the looks and fit. I bought a dark brown pair to wear with a blue suit and they look great. I ordered a 12 medium, which is my usual size, and the fit was perfect. No complaints from me, and I am someone with feet that are picky about shoes.

I love the Rockport brand. I have bad feet and have been buying these for years. They are the only ones that I have found that are comfortable. When I received the shoes, they were easy to put on and forget about since they were so comfortable. Not only do they look nice, they fit perfectly too! As I wear them, I can tell they are sturdy and made with quality construction. I have been able to get good wear out of the previous ones I purchased, so I expect I won't have to replace them quickly. I needed some shoes for work and Rockport is usually my go to shoe for comfort. The shoe has some weight to it but it is comfortable for walking and standing long periods of time. What I don't like is the cheap leather that creases days after wearing. I've since found a better pair of shoes from another company but if you need a quick starter pair of work shoes this is decent until you build a collection of better quality shoes that both look and feel good. ... show more
