The shoes look nice, them seem like they would be comfortable to wear. I bought these for my Dad. Well made, flexible sole. The color is more of a red brown than the chocolate brown shown in picture. Overall, very nice shoes. I took them out of the box, and bent them around a bit, to “tenderize” and soften up for more comfort for my dad’s feet. He’s 82 and needs a good shoe. ... show more

I've worn Rockport walking shoes for decades (and sometimes they last nearly that long. They've always been durable, comfortable and high quality. These things are cheap (also, they came out of the box with a thing film of dust on them). The sole looks and feels like hard plastic - slippery and very unsafe. The tops look well stitched, but are thin and flimsy. If I had seen these at Walmart I wouldn't pay more than $25 for them. Makes me sad; I really loved my previous Rockports. ... show more

These Rockport shoes fit and feel perfect. This brand is simply the best shoe out there for the price. I do not buy any shoe but Rockport. I have Rockport shoes that have lasted 18 years without having to fix or replace anything on them, including the laces. And I still wear them. This company has always made an exceptionally fine product at an amazingly low price. I have walking shoes, wing tips and loafers. The soles last, the stitching lasts. I wear a size 10W.
