These are decent quality shoes. I've worn them several months now. They don't hurt my feet the way some newer Rockports have in the last few years. They look pretty good. I've had a couple of people ask what type they were and where to get them. They do scuff a bit. The staining pattern on the leather makes it a little bit of a challenge to apply polish that can cover scuffs (you have to sort of blend the polish color in). The fit is accurate, they have a modern look and are the typical high quality of Rockport. The leather upper takes time to break-in like any leather. I have elastic shoelaces and cedar wood inserts to make them easy to slip on/off and absorb all sweat.

I never regret buying a Rockport brand shoe. They've always fit well and have been very comfortable, with little to no break in time needed. That being said, this pair was disappointing in that the color was way off from the pictured shoe in listing. My delivered shoes are much lighter brown, almost tan color.
