A must if you are doing sanding.
Easy to set up and really helps with reducing saw dust from sanding. Only tip is that you really need to make sure you set up and connect the shop vac well and I would add to the side and back to extend up and enclose the sanding area helping keep the dust in the table area.

Helpful tool for the shop.
With a good dust collector (versus just a vacuum) this works really well to control dust. Use with a festool DC system and I can sand everything from wood to epoxy without a single speck of dust in my shop.

Almost perfect
This is exactly what I was looking for in a downdraft table. The only flaw are the sheet metal panels on the inside to help air flow. These have some gaps where the sheet metal does not form a full corner leaving holes on either side that allow dust to collect and disrupt air flow. I fixed this using some silicone caulking to fill the holes and smooth things out.
