Hardwood floors and west-facing windows do not make for warm winter mornings. I stole my sister's RockDoves that she left at my house and after two weeks of solid wear, ordered my own, like a good person. What makes these special is their coziness,. THE GOOD RockDove created a really good slipper all around. The grippy sole keeps good tread on hardwood floors, and similarly slippery surfaces like tile or vinyl plank. Soft inner soles and well-constructed "fur" conform comfortably to feet without going flat or staying too stiff, finding a comfortable variable in between. The nice rounded toebox supports good foot health by letting you spread your digits out and curl them while wearing some pretty thick socks. I get no pinching, which is essential even for someone like me with a narrow, long foot. The "fur" exterior isn't fleece, fluffy, or fuzzy, but something more like a particularly opulent pup's coat, and I say that with all love! Dense, nubbly coils gives a really pleasant texture that contributes to the softness without losing colour or softness. My sister's had and worn hers incessantly for over 18 months, and hers still look pretty much new. The copper-cinnamon colour is really very appealing. These are soft, comfy slippers. They keep my feet warm (not hot) and cozy without being sweaty or heavy. THE MEH: Though my sis and I wear the same size, the new slippers definitely run narrower when new. I've had to squish my feet in there and really wiggle my foot around to make room, especially if wearing socks. My feet are naturally narrow, so I'll point out that you might need to use a good cedar shoe tree if you don't wear your slippers much. They retain their shape beautifully though,

So I haven’t had these slippers for very long, but my initial feedback is that they are a must. Warm, cozy, perfect fit (I wear a size 6 and got size small), grippy/antislip texture on the bottom, and the burnt orange color is to die for! Excellent slippers.

The fit is true to size in length, although quite wide. If you have very narrow feet they might be too wide. They have a nice memory foam insole which adjusts to your foot over several wearing. Overall, nicely warm without making my feet sweaty. Not overly attractive if you are interested in fashion, but very comfortable to wear around the house. Adequate non-slip sole. Good value.

I wear a size 8.5 EEE in shoes. So, when ordering any item for my feet that doesn’t mention width is a gamble. However, I am pleasantly surprised by these slippers. The 8.5 fits perfectly. It was a bit snug at first, but it loosened up a bit and is now quite comfy. Otherwise, the quality is nice and they look cute.

The last pair of women’s rock doves had a gore insert on each side front- mid shoe. They were very short for a size 10 until a week of wearing, then they were perfect. They didn’t have much cushioning, so to speak, but were fine because of the gore and great sole. They were so comfortable I wore them for quick errands as well as in the house, they never caused my feet to sweat. I would not have been satisfied if they had remained tight and short. I loved them as they stretched out. I was sorry they stopped the style. So, I bought this pair: I do not like this shoe one bit 1. I bought the 9/10, it’s already loose so I expect it to keep stretching 2. The upper part of one shoe is so tight I can barely get my foot in after wearing all day for several day. It hurts really bad like a pinch and I’m not sure it’s going to stretch. I have flat feet and a low instep, so if you have a high instep stay away 3. There is no support in the sides of the shoes. I may as well be wearing boxes. I don’t really want a shoe to hug my foot, but it should pretend to surround the foot. The old style did this All in all, I will never buy Rock Doves again. I’ve worn them, will wash and donate or throw them away.

I purchased several pairs of slippers at the same time and found these to be a much better value for the money and they look nice and very comfortable and warm. I like that they are washable. Great slipper for the price. I sent all the other slippers back.

I love that these are firm but comfortable. They give the softness you want but the base holds up walking around. Im a size 5.5 and the small fits great. Not loose at all. I recommend these to anyone!
