I thought this would be sized based on ice skate sizing but it's based on shoe size. Product was nice, though. Sturdy, looks to be well made. Had to send it back for a different size twice. Third times the charm.. I wear a women's US 9-ish in shoes and the 10 fits snug (not painful). Blades are sharp enough to use out of the box. I'm new to ice skating so I couldn't tell a difference on whether or not they needed to be sharpened more.     • A little tight widthwise but liked otherwise
I used these for the first time this past weekend. They are a little tight (width wise) but that is supposedly how they are supposed to fit. I had only ice skated twice before (once as a kid and once last year) and was able to skate in these. I am looking forward to skating more!

    • Comfortable for wide feet and great skates for beginners
Beautiful skate and great quality. I had them sharpened for only $8.00. This is a great skate for beginners and I like that the material is not stiff. My feet are wide so these skates fit comfortably.

These skates are absolutely lovely. Roces is a reliable brand for a reasonable price. I have wide feet and these fit great. They are pretty stiff but that's something you should be looking for in a skate. The more support, the better. Your ankles will thank you in the morning! I haven't got them sharpened yet but they're still better than arena skates right out of the box. The only con is that they took over 3 months to ship. Well worth the wait. ... show more
