The pictures make it look casual, cotton, t-shirt like. It is more of a polyester, stretchy fabric, but I wanted it for work, so it works just fine. I did size up one size (usually a 2x, got a 3x) because reviews said it runs small and I like my clothes a little on the flowy, loose side. It is very comfortable, it is almost tunic length, which I like because I am tall. I may order the same one in another color. UPDATE: I ordered two more. One, with the four buttons and striped sleeves, the other gray floral. All 3 I sized up one size. The fit is good, fabric soft. So pleased with them. ... show more

Runs a bit small. I'm a 1x / 2x large but wanted something super roomy and got a 3x and it was a bit snug. Also, the fabric is clingy so you'll want to wear a smoother if you are self-conscious about any bra or stretch mark/cellulite/rolls.
