Amazon recommended that I go up a few sizes from some other purchases I had made elsewhere, but I have no idea what they could be referencing because I usually don't buy clothes on Amazon. I had been looking for some distressed/destroyed jeans and was apprehensive when Amazon suggested I go up to size 42. I usually wear size 36-38 and I have an athletic build so that is the only reason I considered 38. Glad I did as these fit pretty good, not baggy, and not tight (no stretch built in). I will probably get the waist taken in with a tailor, but because these were so affordable I don't mind it at all. The jeans looked nice, but what was labeled a size 34” was actually a size 38” from button to button hole with the sewing measuring tape. I want to reorder for my son, but afraid until their inventory is corrected, that we would keep getting the wrong size sent. I returned them for a refund.
