I ordered the color white but received a black cover. I did a replacement order for a white one, and again, received it in black. There must be something off at the warehouse and it's grabbing from the wrong box or something. So beware if you are ordering white, you may receive the wrong color! For a third time ordering I took a gamble and ordered the ice blue color, and ice blue actually arrived! Would have preferred the white here but the light blue is still nice. Was super excited to finally receive this today just in time for the holidays. Gave it 5 stars because it’s cute. But it does not fit my Ring Doorbell 2 cam The screws don’t line up. It looks as though we got one for another model.

I broke my original plate trying to take it off and needed a replacement fast. This one did the job. The color is not as vibrant as in the picture, which was perfect for me. Installation was easy peasy, since it's the same process you do to remove the battery. It does NOT come with the screw at the bottom, so make sure you keep yours from the original unit. I have a Ring 2 and it fit just fine, no idea what some of the other complaints about it not fitting are. It's a little pricey for what it is, but it's great quality. I feel like if it were $9.99, I would probably change it out more often for the different seasons. ... show more

    • Doesn't Work for 2nd Generation Ring
My second generation ring is 7 months old. The face plate is disintegrating. A quick Google search reveals that moisture damages that section of the plastic. It is on a covered patio but probably when the rain blows or from my sprinklers. Nevertheless, I ordered this overpriced faceplate that clearly says it works for my ring doorbell. It DEFINITELY DOES NOT work. The bottom has one screw hole. My doorbell faceplate has two. This doesn't have screws on the back or wraps around the ring like the original. Returning. ... show more

I really wanted a black faceplate but there were none in stock. My husband chose this one and I have to admit I was not feeling it. This faceplate looks way better in person than it does on the right. It actually looks good!
