Being able to keep an eye on home while away gives such peace of mind. Ring’s app is very intuitive and easy to use. Setup was flawless and also works in harmony with the Ring base station. I always get alerted to events as soon as they are happening so I can stay in the know. With the app, you can even set certain areas that the camera ignores so it won’t alert you, such as a road it is facing or a community sidewalk. I work at night, and the floodlights illuminate my surroundings when I walk to my car which further adds to my safety. And during the day, the sun tops up the charge so it stays on, never missing a thing. Without the solar panel, it still keeps a charge for over a month before needing topped up again on recommended settings. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the philips head screw you remove to access the battery cover on the bottom. I was shocked that they didn’t use the more secure Torx screws that are on the doorbells! It’s no big deal if it’s way high up off of the ground, but some cameras are forced to be at lower levels, so I feel like Ring needs to revise this on their next model and add the Torx screw for extra security. As the title says though, I could not imagine my home without my Ring cameras. They all give me such peace of mind and a sense of security should anything happen. I recommend them for ALL households and urge you to grab yourself a few. They are worth every penny.

Love this, I wish it was a little brighter, but works well. I do have it quite high, I mounted it on an old satellite dish, on the roof. It's not noticeable unless it comes on at night and lights up. I connected it to a solar panel so I don't have to worry about charging the battery. It does pick up people quite well.

We have 3 in thefront yard. They dont stay on longenough when scary neighbor is going off. I have to manually turn camera on. Which is hard when your almost 60 and 25 year old across the street is screaming and moving toward you. The audio could be better. It is frustrating. We did see a car theif ring try and steal a bunch of cars. It works well, but the delays cause it to miss things. Like the scary person walked right behind my car. My car tripped the camera, it did not see the person come 20 + feet into my driveway. We are lookinginto cameras that give us better cintinuity
