Being able to keep an eye on home while away gives such peace of mind. Ring’s app is very intuitive and easy to use. Setup was flawless and also works in harmony with the Ring base station. I always get alerted to events as soon as they are happening so I can stay in the know. With the app, you can even set certain areas that the camera ignores so it won’t alert you, such as a road it is facing or a community sidewalk. I work at night, and the floodlights illuminate my surroundings when I walk to my car which further adds to my safety. And during the day, the sun tops up the charge so it stays on, never missing a thing. Without the solar panel, it still keeps a charge for over a month before needing topped up again on recommended settings. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the philips head screw you remove to access the battery cover on the bottom. I was shocked that they didn’t use the more secure Torx screws that are on the doorbells! It’s no big deal if it’s way high up off of the ground, but some cameras are forced to be at lower levels, so I feel like Ring needs to revise this on their next model and add the Torx screw for extra security. As the title says though, I could not imagine my home without my Ring cameras. They all give me such peace of mind and a sense of security should anything happen. I recommend them for ALL households and urge you to grab yourself a few. They are worth every penny.

We have been using this solar panel to keep our camera charged for approx a year. Held up great. Charges batteries very well. Camera works very well. I have never had a problem with ring products.

I am a big, avid ring fan! We have ring doorbells on every single property and Airbnb that we operate. Sometimes we need an outdoor camera that is responsive and turns on a light at night with motion activation. This set is a great solution for that need. The installation of the solar panel and pairing with the ring device is very simplistic and easy to do with just a Phillips head screwdriver. the light that turns on at night is very responsive and it’s nice to know that ring records. Every interaction storing itself on the ring cloud. This helps us with insurance claims and anything that might occur for us to properly report and keep our properties safe. This is the only package we ever purchased when we were putting an outdoor camera in place. I am sure you’ll enjoy this package for an outdoor camera and be a very happy ring customer. I first got a ring doorbell. Then I got a front patio camera, then later back patio. Good, I thought, I can see the main access points to my home. Then they were on sale for stupid cheap, so I got a couple to put in the garage - I have other people that have access to my garage, so It's just nice to know who's in there. Then the floodlights were on sale, and my exiting motion lights went bad, so why not, got one for each side. Then this guy went on sale, and I thought of the back corner of my yard, the half of the back yard really, so I got it. The point is these cameras are a good value and a good way to keep track of your home, and once you buy them there's no additional cost, except for the subscription plan, which if you pay on an annual basis is cheaper and not that much. I got a solar panel for this one so I didn't have to change batteries. I got a non-ring branded one, and the app doesn't recognize the panel but the batteries in it are always charged.. The cameras works well and gives me peace of mind. I like the motion sensor light feature - if the light comes on, you know something tripped it. I will look for the next sale and get one for the other half of the yard.

We have 3 in thefront yard. They dont stay on longenough when scary neighbor is going off. I have to manually turn camera on. Which is hard when your almost 60 and 25 year old across the street is screaming and moving toward you. The audio could be better. It is frustrating. We did see a car theif ring try and steal a bunch of cars. It works well, but the delays cause it to miss things. Like the scary person walked right behind my car. My car tripped the camera, it did not see the person come 20 + feet into my driveway. We are lookinginto cameras that give us better cintinuity

Really like this but it uses two ring batteries to back up if not enough in solar energy. But we use to light up the back yard to see what critters are coming in to dig holes.
