****Edited and changed from 1 star ⭐️ to 5 stars ⭐️ after Ring support reached out and helped me diagnose the issue and replace the defective charger, first class customer care agent Z took great care of me and my concerns****** Great when it works, several times while charging it stops charging the batteries and then some random led lights will come on. Only way to fix this issue is to power it off by disconnecting and then reconnecting it. Can’t really depend on it charging the batteries without constantly checking on the progress. Even while batteries aren’t connected you’ll get these random LEDs to come on and stay on as seen in my photo

Edited: A few days after I left my original review a RING customer service rep, Rudy, called to offer some helpful advice. After cleaning out the unit from the inside (it had gathered some dust) the unit seems to be working better now. I will add 1 additional star THANKS TO RUDY! Ive never had any one call me and only a few companies even bother to reach out after a less than stellar review so this was a pleasent surprise. Thanks Rudy/Ring! I'll check back in a couple weeks to update.

The Ring batteries charge best using the Ring charging system. I've tried other charging systems but they don't fully charge the Ring batteries.
