After the first initial time of using it, the batteries held charge for the same amount of time that they would have if you used the orange cord that came with your Ring cams. Great product! I have five cameras, so having only one battery on the charger wasn't working for me. I bought another battery & this dual charger. Works great! It's easy to slide the batteries in & out, and charges them quick enough. It's nice to always have a charged battery when I need new now. Recommend.

Best of all batteries. Do not waste your money on the no name batteries that will fit your ring. They only last a short period of time until you have to recycle them. And they don’t hold a charge like the real Ring brand does.
