There is a comfortable lining that helps keep your hair from getting squashed and feathery. My only problem with it is that it’s too small. My head is a medium – large size and I have fine hair. I did not realize this hat would not pull down over my ears, so the warmth factor is not what I had hoped for even though I had felt comfortably warm when I wore it for a few minutes. If you’re looking for a hat that fits higher up on your head and does not cover your ears, assuming your head size is similar to mine, it would be perfect.
