Great all around headset.

I love them. Had them for about 3 weeks used them 2-3 hours per day longer on weekends and the charge lasts a long time. This is my first wireless gaming headset, I have had lots of wired headsets in the past from Rig, Turtle Beach, and Astro. For comfort Rig can’t be beat. They are light on the head and have enough adjustability to make them comfortable for most sized heads. The range is great I have had them on and walked out to the backyard while still talking with teammates. The sound is great on par with any mid to high end headset it does have great spatial awareness sound. I was wary of going to wireless as I have seen reviews and complaints of people talking about connectivity issues, so far I have only used it on my Xbox and have had no issues at all. I’m hoping to try it on my PS5 soon. I bought them on sale for a great price shortly after Christmas and definitely worth it. ... show more

Great quality and fits my huge head!

Easy setup, fit my gigantic size 8+ head, even tho there’s no “active noise canceling” it still does a good job of canceling out background noise (just ask my wife). When I game it does the thing where if something on the left in the game is making noise then it sounds like it’s happening on the left with the headset—pretty nifty. Overall, I’m very happy and I got lots of different headsets like Bose (for work) and I have the Xbox headset but I don’t like those as much, I have some HyperX and those are pretty good but I like these the best. Oh and I got some expensive turtle beach headphones but they’re annoying because if I’m laying back on the couch when I’m gaming the volume knob will crank to max because of where it’s positioned and I don’t have that problem with these RIG headphones. This headset, while it may be pricey, it is definitely worth every penny. Infinitely better than my old headset, the mic quality is TOP NOTCH. The app is a lil confusing to use at first, it is still good. I will note, for the app to work the headset needs to be connected to ONLY BLUETOOTH, which is literally my only gripe about the headset, other than that I highly recommend especially if you play games where sound cue’s are vital. ... show more

It was amazing for the first month. But after that it causes the audio to sound like it’s vibrating off a metal sheet. Mic is great but the audio quality is not there for the long run

Maaaaan, I’ve been using these things for a couple years now and they are AWESOME!! Definitely recommended purchasing. My friends can hear me very clearly, and they fit my big ass head perfectly thanks to the adjustable headband. Awesome Gaming Headset

Will always stick with RIG when buying gaming headsets for my boys. They are hands down their top pick. When my son's headset finally quit working after two whole years, he wanted to try a different brand. He tried 3 different headsets and sent them back, just to say "I want to go back to RIG" 😂 and he asked me to order this one. Before he had the 800, this is the 900. He is very happy again and hasn't had one thing to complain about. My husband likes RIG but wanted to try steel series. He said as soon as that one quits working, hes going back to RIG. So I would 10/10 reccommend these gaming headsets. Great sound quality, awesome battery life, love the charging stand it comes with. And how easy it is to connect to your PC/xbox. Not as good as previous versions

I previously owned the RIG 800 Pro HX from 2019 and those were far superior than the 900 MAX HX imo...out of the box i feel like these headphones are unbalanced (more sound coming from the left ear than the right). Also they are much much quieter than the previous versions which i dont like because i have severe tinnitus. Also when i speak into the mic i cant hear myself talk as well as my 800 pro HX which almost feels like im going deaf. A few other quirks i dont like. The push button power on takes too long to turn it on and it powers off by itself too quickly when im not using it which means i have to constantly push the power button on again to use it. When i start up the headphones it doesnt remember my previous selection and ALWAYS puts it in DUAL mode when i just want it in game mode (uses less battery power) and i have to change it back to game mode every single time. My buddy says the mic is better than my last headset but i cant tell the difference on my end. Games seem either way too quiet or way to loud. Im thinking about returning them ... show more

My favorite headset (with flaws)

Have been using this headset for 8 months now. I can recommend this to any casual gamer looking for a good headset, but it isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Pros: The lightest and most comfortable headset out there. (This however varies by person due to head shape) Super simple and easy app. Designed for idiots like me Good all round balanced audio. I can hear footsteps clearly while still having cool explosions. Made even cooler with simple EQ adjustments Strong build quality. I am confident I can drop this from 30 feet and it would still work. Cons: Pointless charging station. My biggest ripe with the headset. You can only connect to one device at a time so it is just a waste of desk space. Would probably bring the cost down if it wasn't included No simultaneous Bluetooth. I know it is a big deal for some but not for me Bad mic quality. Like most gaming headsets, they still have mics from 2010. Overall for me, it gets my 2 big selling points. Audio quality and comfort. And I would really like to emphasize comfort. I went to bed with these on and didn't realize until I woke up in the morning. If they took away the base station or improved it and had a better mic, it would be a 5 stars for me ... show more
