A coworker recommended this brand to me when I brought up wanting to get my own skates, and after a few days of research I came to a conclusion that they were the safest bet! They fit perfect, but look a little awkward on me I think since my feet are a little wide. I was nervous about the sizing chart (I'm a size 7 1/2 in US Women's with wide feet) but they are snug and not tight! Even with my thick socks! There isn't any cushion on the insides of the boots, so I can imagine sore feet after use. Not as heavy as rental skates though, that's for sure! 10/10 for fit. 10/10 for color. Will update this review when I take them outside on the sidewalk! (Hopefully soon!) ... show more

According to the size chart I should be able to wear a 7. My usual shoe size is 8 to 8.5 but the measurement chart put me in a 7. Don't fall for that. While I could get my foot in there, it was a tight fit. My toe and heel were way up against the ends. If I were to try wearing them I would have blisters before long. The top of the toe end where the tongue joins the shoe is a super tight fit. I had on a single thin sock and it was really tight fitting. It hurt just having the skate on, not even standing up. I will return them for being the wrong size but probably won't reorder the right size due to the way the toe end is too tight on top. Theoretically the shoe would loosen up a bit and maybe be able to fit better, but I don't want to risk the blisters that I would get in the break-in period. It's too bad because these are exactly as vibrant as shown in the picture. They are beautiful! I love how they look! I was looking forward to showing up to the skate party with these cool skates. ... show more

Love these skates!!! I was torn between these and the beach bunnies these are far more comfortable in the ankle and the tongue doesn't get in the way of my foot going in the boot. Get the orbits!

These skate are the quality you would expect from Riedell! All of the pieces and parts, from the shoe to the wheels, are tough / functional / and can be maintained with minimal effort. Plus they look good! My wife loves them and we have suddenly become more active! One thing to keep in mind is that they are not light. That's because the materials are so good. ... show more
