I've gotten used to jeans with more of a stretch to the denim. I prefer the additional stretch, not because it's needed, I just find it more comfortable when moving around. These are pretty stiff, especially around the waist. It's not bad, because the jeans fit - but - I'd like a bit more give. Still - I'm keeping them. I never wear white jeans but just lost weight and wanted to try. I bought an 18 and they fit perfectly. The length is low calf area so slightly higher than ankle. They are comfy and stretchy but also tight enough to hold you in a bit and pull your butt up too. I can see how they’d stretch fast so if you want tight I’d go a size smaller.
