The necklace itself is well made and looks great in person. The gold tone has a nice shine that is not too yellow and the flat link design catches light beautifully. It feels solid, smooth, and comfortable against the skin. The stainless steel material is strong, hypoallergenic, and does not tarnish even after regular wear. However, the product photos are misleading. They make it look like you are getting two chains or one long enough to double up but it is actually a single chain. The length is accurate to the description but not what the images suggest which can be disappointing if you expect layering. The clasp works smoothly and feels secure. The chain thickness is just right for a minimalist style without looking flimsy. It sits well on the neck and pairs nicely with other jewelry. Overall, it is a nice necklace for the price with solid quality and shine but the listing photos should be clearer about what is included. Four stars for quality and design, minus one for the deceptive presentation.

Originally got this 4mm, 14in choker length chain to wear with a pendant, but the necklace is rather striking on its own. I haven’t even worn it with said pendant yet because I like how it looks on me as is. The black color almost has a satin-like feel to it and is comfortable on the skin. The actual chain length of the choker from end to end is 13.25in, and the overall total length with extender chain is 16.25in. I have to wear this fully extended because it rides up my neck too much otherwise, plus, felt a touch too tight for my liking. Only minor complaint - is due to the flat link design the chain will stand up on the neck and roll back and forth with movement. But, I sort of expected this to happen as I have other chains of flat link design that do this as well. Other than that it looks more expensive than it actually is, and is made well. Now I’d like to get this choker length chain in the 6mm, then the 2mm 18in one next.

This is truly a beautiful chain. I like silver jewelry but it has a tendency to tarnish. I wear my chain every day and it is exposed to sweat, sun screen, cologn, etc. This chain is very elegant and not too bulky. It goes well with the Spanish silver coin pendant I wear but without the constant cleaning and fear of damage I would face with a silver chain. For these reasons, I prefer this stainless steel chain over my silver chain for everyday wear. Great chain for a reasonable price.
