These premium snowshoes are made from durable materials that are able to withstand heavy use in the snow, and they have a secure double-ratchet binding system that makes the snowshoes beyond easy to strap in and out of while you’re out on the trail. Each snowshoe features a seamless one-piece deck that is highly durable and rigid for the iciest terrain with steel toe crampons and two rows of additional steel teeth that run along the full length of the snowshoe for extra traction. Drifter Plus is outfitted with a full-floating pivot system that helps you dig into the terrain with your feet and will make you feel like you’re floating across the snow. EVA padding adds comfort to these snowshoes and protects your boots from scuffs and dents. Don’t forget your trekking poles to cover more ground!

I do a lot of ice fishing around the state, but mostly at our cabin. Our cabin is on a lake in one of the lake-effect snowbelt areas so the snow can really pile up quick. I often walk to my ice fishing spots and in some areas, the snow is knee to waist deep so these have really come in handy. These snow shoes are easy to use and comfortable to wear. The ease of ratcheting them on and off makes these great for when I get to my ice fishing spot. These seem to be good quality, and get the job done for my needs. I don't know how well these would hold up under heavy use, but these work well enough for me. When these are tightened, I don't feel any discomfort in my feet which can sometimes be an issue while getting a tight fit with the ratchet straps. These are a great option for those who travel a lot, and want to remove their snow shoes easily while on the move. ... show more

I have only used it for a few times and the shoes worked well by keepping me from sinking on packed snow. The bindings are strong and adjustable, and fit my boots well. The price is reasonable and I would recommend these snow shoes to beginners.

Made lightweight and has a very aggressive crampons on the bottom. Bindings are easy to adjust with gloves on and rotate freely when hiking in packed snow on uneven trails. Plenty wide enough to keep my 165lb frame from sinking much at all. Feel like they will last a while if used properly and cared for even though they are fairly inexpensive compared to big name shoes. Definitely more for hard packed snow and ice on trails than deep powder in the wide open countryside. Overall not bad for what they are and get the job done for light to moderate use. These snow shoes are good for the price but not the most durable. They're made out of plastic and have held up to heavy use this year, but I'm concerned they will only last a year or two. They're pretty light which makes it easy to walk and they have ratchet straps so you can get a secure fit. The heel lift also helps with ease of walking and is a must if you're going to be going long distances. Overall they're a good shoe for a beginner or someone who's only planning on light use, but if you're a heavy snowshoer I would invest in a more well-known brand that will last longer. ... show more

I’ve had several pairs of snow shoes and have determined that the features I appreciate the most are ratcheting straps and heel lifters. These snow shoes include both so they start out good already in my book. The ratchet straps let you quickly and securely tighten the shows down against your boots. A button press then allows the strap to slide free for loosening them. The area that presses up against your boots has a softer liner so the plastic and metal isn’t cutting into your boots as you tighten the shoes down against them. The back straps just have a basic hook and hole fastener with some clips to hold the slack. Not quite as good as some other snow shoes I’ve had that use a quick release clip but not bad. Each shoe has a flip up heel lifter to make going uphill easier. I like the overall design and shape of the shoes as they aren’t overly large and make walking a little easier than some more cumbersome models. ... show more

The plastic is definitely a bit concerning for long-term use; however, the frame is nice and sturdy. I'd worry about repetitive steps breaking the plastic, but we shall see. Otherwise, the snowshoe "cleat" is fantastic, nice and sharp. Looks to be able to dig into most types of snow, even a decently hard pack. All that said, the plastic obviously reduces the weight to carry these in the backwoods, so the product itself fits the use case perfectly.
