Full disclosure, I was looking for short pants for my 8 year old son when I came across the Resinta 3 Pack Girls School Uniform Bermuda Shorts. They are the right color that my school uniform and they are made of cotton, which is the fabric I was looking for, however since they are girl short, they are shorter in length than you would expect and that’s why I sized up for my son. They’re priced at ~$30 for a pack of 3, so about $10 per pants. They’re not cheap but they’re good quality cotton short pants, great for warm school days. ... show more

I was a little nervous ordering these because I always wash in warm water and throw everything in the dryer, and cotton can be unpredictable. But they came out of the first wash looking exactly the same—no shrinking at all, and the colors didn't fade or bleed onto anything else. That's a huge relief because I'm not about to start doing special laundry loads for kids' shorts. I got the black, navy, and khaki combo so my daughter would have easy options to match with whatever tops she grabs in the morning. The cotton fabric is such a big deal to me because I hate synthetic materials for everyday wear, especially for kids who are running around all day. These feel soft and breathable, and she says they're comfortable even when it's hot outside. The elastic waist is stretchy enough that she can pull them on by herself without any struggle, which saves me time when we're rushing out the door. They sit comfortably at her waist without being too tight or sliding down during the day. The pockets are actually deep enough to be useful! She keeps her little treasures in them, and I've found everything from rocks to friendship bracelets when I do laundry. The Bermuda length gives her enough coverage and works well for summer.
