  • Love these! Exactly what I was looking for!
I love that these fit well yet have some stretch, too. I ordered my true size & I’m so happy with them. At first glance, I thought they would be too small, but as soon as I put them on, I loved them & they are so cute & comfortable! I’m ordering more & hoping that the other colors fit as well as these. I got the frayed dark wash with frayed bottoms & they are the perfect length on me to wear as is or to fold up. I do both, depending on my mood, shoes, or the look I’m going for. They are a little long for short girls, but not frumpy when worn as is & not rolled. I’m 5’2” & usually wear a 10-12, ordered a 12 & they are perfect, IMO, but a 10 would have worked, & tbh, an 8 would have probably been fine, too, just shorter. I don’t like tight clothes, so I always size up or to the bigger end of my size. They are loose in the waist without being too loose & annoying, b/c they have plenty of stretch in all the right places. Like I said, I could have sized down, but these are exactly what I was looking for. All of the holes are perfectly placed & covered by the frayed strings, just how I like them to be. They did have a little bit of a chemical smell out of the bag, but it wasn’t too strong & as soon as I washed them it went away. They are made well & remind me of A&F jeans. Way better than I even expected these to be, but I did my homework, trusted my gut & all of your awesome reviews, & I’m so glad I did! If you’re on the fence about these, don’t be, order them, girl! Edited: Bought a second pair in this color, bc I love them so much & they go with so much. ... show more

  • A quality pair of jeans, except…..
A quality pair of jeans, except….. these jeans are made well. They are, for the most part, the same color as in the photos, and even sort of cute (if baggy clothing is your thing). And don’t get me wrong I’m glad that people are finally including plus size in their repertoire. However! These jeans are not meant to be baggy & are clearly a skinny and fitting jean. I feel, on this pair of jeans, that the maker did what a lot of clothing companies do and that is altering the pattern, which includes the actual measurements of the pattern, when making the larger plus sizes copies of their smaller sized articles. And this literally changes the entire look style and feel of the item. What that does is make a fat girl look fat. It makes a larger girl look like she’s wearing “big girl clothing”. Because instead of fitting nice and snug as in the picture, it fit perfectly around the waist and then went straight down- like a tent. The jeans were so loose on my legs I could’ve put one and a half of them down each leg. Decidedly NOT a skinny Jean. They did not hug my curves or fit snug and skinny as they are supposed to it and as they do in the smaller version. And in that case when that happens they might as well not even bother making plus sized versions to include in their stores. This is how it’s been concerning plus sizes since the beginning of fashion. It’s only been in the last 15 to 20 years (at the VERY most) that people are really considering plus size girls and their feelings. And The fact that they also would like to look cute and fashionable (despite their Beautiful curves). Whoever decided that they did not, has no business in fashion. PERIOD. If people would just make these patterns EXACTLY the same but obviously in the larger sizes, bigger girls could look and feel cute as well. And for these jeans, or for jeans in general, that means: making a tight pair of fitting jeans (like these) EXACTLY the same way as you would a tight pair of fitting jeans in size 0 on up. But in plus sizes. Make them EXACTLY the same as the size zero versions from the waistband all the way to be hem at the ankle. Just because we’re larger doesn’t mean we don’t want to look cute, and it especially doesn’t mean we don’t want to wear the same styles (meaning: the ACTUAL PATTERN) as the smaller sizes too. Just make the pattern larger for larger sizes. Just because I’m bigger doesn’t mean I want to wear a tent on my legs. I mean, for me at least, I already struggle to feel good about myself and my now bigger size. My self esteem is low enough, struggling enough. To think Our need to look and feel pretty is any less or lower than that of someone much smaller is absolutely insane! So why would we: A) NOT want to not wear the same cute clothing and styles as the smaller girls (as if our desire to look and feel pretty is any less than those of our skinny counterparts would be), and B) Not love or need fashion every bit as much as anyone else. Just because we are bigger doesn’t mean we want to roll around in dirt and wear a potato sack to the club. The very thought is absolutely ridiculous! So Please consider these very very real facts for future styles. And other than that, everything else was great. The shipping was realistic and the price was excellent and as I said before- it’s a quality product, made well (if you don’t mind loose/baggy jeans lol). ... show more

  • So cute and fits over the curves!
This review is for the short and curvy ladies. I am very impressed with these jeans. I have a hard enough time finding jeans in the store, so I am shocked these fit and look so good. I'm 5'2 and almost 160 lbs and I it's hard to find jeans that fit over my hips and butt. I'm probably a size 12 at this point. I bought an 8 because of the reviews that say they are a little big and stretchy. When I took them out of the package I thought there was no way they would even fit on one leg because they looked like the size of a child's jeans but they went right on thanks to the stretch. They are tight and I would consider them Skinny jeans now and not Boyfriend but I'm perfectly happy with that as I don't need any extra bulk on this body. If I wanted the true Boyfriend look I probably would have bought my true size at a 10 or 12. They are a little on the tight side but not too bad; I can see the distressed part on the upper thigh stretching some. They are long and I have to roll them up 3 or 4 times but they still look fine. In the photos I have the one leg rolled and the other not to show the length. I got them up and over my butt and they fit like a glove. But because they are just a little tight on the legs they don't have as much room to give when I bend, sit, or squat so they end up pulling down and showing a little crack. This is because of the size I bought and the size of my butt :). I'll wear a belt for this reason but the waist is fine, it stretches and forms to your size and shape. I like the color, it looks real and not that fake denim/spray painted look which is nice. Just a tiny dye smell; I haven't washed them yet though and it's not bad at all. I haven't worn them all day but they seem to be comfortable. I owe it all to the stretch. But they feel like actual good quality jeans and not a cheap stretch. I hope this helps when considering these! ... show more
