There's a nice finish to it, and the strands seem to be high quality. And regardless of the price, it certainly is deceptive enough to be perceived as real. It's happened on multiple occasions with me already. The clasp is nice and easy to use, and I had no problems putting it on and off. It doesn't tangle easily and has a good weight to it.
