I bought these so I could use the lift jacks to get the rear tire off the ground so I could do chain maintenance and other maintenance on my motorcycle. The lift jacks I bought come with some ugly but functional swingarm spools made out of stamped steel. Since it just easier to leave them on - they really don't get in the way at all - I decided to upgrade to quality aluminum CNC spools, and these things look awesome. These spools are wider than the ones that come with the jack - so it is actually easier to get the jack on them and raise the bike. I got them in black to match the swingarm and bike so they wouldn't be quite so noticeable. They look like they'd also function as sliders just in case of a crash - not planning on testing them, but they look like they might keep "some" of the possible damage from happening.

Great product, looks great and does its job. However, I wish they’d included the 8mm Allen wrench with it, as my personal allen wrench set did not have an 8mm… maybe my fault, but seems like tool steel is cheap now and everything usually includes a cheapo Allen key anyway. Oh well, I have an 8mm now.

They go on easy and perform the intended task. Tried them on my Ninja 300. They worked great. So then I installed a set on my Ninja 1000. They work better than the original ones that were installed and caused scratches on the frame while trying to lift it. I would recommend these.
