  • TRUSTED BY PLAYERS & THE PROS: RGK gloves are designed to perform and built to last. As of January 2021, the Eclipse glove series had more than 214 ratings & reviews averaging 4.7 Stars across all models. This includes 171 FIVE Star ratings. Renegade GK is also the official GK glove of both the NPSL and WPSL, which are the largest professional soccer leagues in the U.S.
  • PROFESSIONAL LEVEL: The new RGK Eclipse series is our 1st truly pro-level goalie gloves. These gloves were designed from the ground up using feedback from pro keepers combined with the best materials and construction methods we know of. Were not claiming its the best glove on the market, but well put it up against any competitor in a head to head.
  • PRO-LEVEL GRIP PERFORMANCE & CONTROL: All Eclipse gloves use high-performance German EXT Contact Grip latex, which is the standard for professional level goalie gloves. This plus other upgrades like the extended palm, 180 thumb wrap, and pre-arched palm instantly improve grip and ball control.
  • LEADING SAFETY PROTECTION: The Eclipses composite 4+3MM latex palms and 6MM breathaprene backhand with raised injected rubber ridges provide extra impact protection, while the neoprene cuff and 6CM 360 Duratek strap give excellent wrist support.
  • SUPERIOR VALUE & COMFORT: We've tried to pack as much value into every RGK glove regardless of play level, while ensuring that they are comfortable. The Eclipses breathaprene unibody design ensures a great form fit, maximum breathability, while the unique extended palm design puller makes them easy to put on.

  • Review of The Eclipse Glove After Two Weeks of Usage
I wanted to give you guys a review of the Renegade Eclipse Assault Gloves. Note, I have used the Eclipse Assault in daily practice sessions and two games on the Pro level over the last two weeks. Size: If you are used to, or have tried, the Fury series of the Renegade gloves then you should order the Eclipse gloves one size bigger. I used to wear the gloves of the Fury series in size 9 (without Fingersave), however, the Eclipse series fits perfectly in size 10. I prefer a glove that has a Negative Cut and I think that Renegade has done well with the Eclipse. As a reference for the sizes, in gloves from Adidas and Nike gloves I usually wear a size 10 as well and the size 10 Eclipse fits perfectly.

Cut: Unlike their Fury Series, Renegade is using a Negative Cut for their Eclipse Series and I love it. So far, Renegade has been super consistent with their gloves. The Negative Cut makes the Eclipse more comfortable and they feel like a second skin around your hand.
Backhand: The backhand of the Eclipse gloves is a huge improvement compared to the Fury series. The breathaprene provides good air ventilation for your hands. People who are playing in temperatures of 85 degrees Fahrenheit or 30° Celsius (or higher) will treasure the backhand because it makes playing in the heat way more comfortable. Also, the molded rubber on the backhand provides great accuracy, but also good protection, whenever you are forced to punch the ball. Palm: For the palm of the Eclipse Series, Renegade uses a German EXT contact grip, which gives you an excellent grip and control over the ball. During the two weeks, I also had a few practices during the rain. A lot of gloves have the problem that they can’t keep their grip during rainy sessions. The Eclipse glove had no problems maintaining their grip no matter the weather. Something that surprised me was the durability of the palm. The palm of my Eclipse gloves still looks fantastic despite being two weeks old. Also, after two weeks they still have the same grip as of the first day. I have had other gloves from big-name companies that looked terrible after just one week. On the pictures, you will be able to see the gloves brand new and after being used for two weeks. Wrist: Another huge upgrade from the Fury Series. The strap feels comfortable and provides great stability for the wrist. Itself the entrance and the strap puller make it super easy to get into the glove without having to pull it like crazy. The Eclipse has probably one of the best entrances I have seen while maintaining a durable strap.

Overall, Renegade has made a big step into the professional level with their Eclipse series. The first two weeks with the Eclipse glove have been fantastic and I can’t find anything to complain about. The gloves have a wonderful grip, great durability, and they are very comfortable while providing great stability to your wrists. The glove is definitely worth their money and will make you feel like a professional without having to spend a lot of money. ... show more

  • Great gloves from a great company
This is my second pair of gloves from Renegade GK. My previous pair (the Fury series) were an exceptional glove with professional quality, but at a price that was great even for a recreational player like myself. So when it came time to replace that pair, I immediately went back to Renegade GK. Like my previous pair of gloves, the Eclipse do not disappoint. The backhand and glove entrance uses a soft neoprene fabric that fits like a second skin. This makes the gloves feel less bulky compared to others I have used that were covered in latex across most of the backhand. To maintain grip on the backs of the fingers, Renegade GK has used a soft, sticky, gel-like rubber. This provides great articulation, and I expect will perform even better than latex-backed fingers when in contact with the ball. The glove entrance is darted with a thin, elastic material, which helps make the gloves easy to slip on. The closure uses a strong piece of athletic elastic that wraps around the entire wrist. Compared to my last pair, these gloves are easier to don and doff, but feel just as secure. If I have one complaint, it's that I find the pull-tab for releasing the closure to be a bit large and floppy while wearing the gloves. While it makes releasing the closure easier (without any damage to the fingers by rubbing on velcro), and I don't expect it to lead to any performance issues, I would prefer something a bit more compact. It's easy enough to trim down though, so no worries. The palm is soft and tacky. I haven't had a chance to use these gloves on the field yet, but they feel stickier than many other gloves I have used in the past. Fingersaves can be inserted through the zippered slot in the back of the glove. Super easy to adjust to your personal preference. The fit is true to size with other gloves I have worn. Finally, the customer service at Renegade GK is stellar. Last time I orderd from them I needed to exchange sizes. Their communication was great, and they even shipped me a new pair before getting the original pair back just so I would have them in time for an upcoming game. ... show more
