I've owned two different lengths of these pants, and have learned some things you'll want to know before you buy. First of all, the material on these is great. They feel like professional grade pants, unlike most pull on pants of this style that are made with a cottony material, that while comfy, is also a lot like sweatpants in a different cut, and just feel very casual to me for going to the office. This material still has a lot of stretch to it, and the strength of the material plus the high waist keeps me "tucked in" around the middle, and not in an uncomfortable way. These pants do not have real pockets, so if you want those, move along. These are slim fit, so pockets would create lumps and bumps, so I'm okay letting that go for these. The biggest unknown when it comes to these pants is the length. The Regular size is listed as 32" and the Tall size is listed as 35". I am 5' 8 1/2" tall, and have issues with pants being too short, but long ones being too long. The Regular size look fine if I'm in flats and standing, but the stretchy nature of these pants means that when you sit, they move quite a long ways up your leg. That's why I included a picture of me with my leg up in the air like a stork. For the Tall length pants, 35" in any other pant would be WAY too long for me, and they are definitely long when standing, I have to have some heels on (though you can see in the picture, the heels don't have to be crazy tall). But when I sit in the Tall pants, they are the right length. For me, sitting at my desk at work in the Regular size pants, the short length drove me batty. My socks poke out, and they are super high water, so I'd rather have the long size and wear some heels with them. This is my personal preference. Also, they are quite slim fit, I am wearing a size 8 and normally I wear a size 6 in pants. I am 135 lbs. I hope this review helps you with these pants. This review is for Rekucci Womens Ease Into Comfort Fit Barely Bootcut Stretch Pants (4 Short, Black/White Prince of Wales). I actually bought these pants awhile back, but I think it deserves a quick review. I've purchased several Rekucci pants (various styles and colors) to wear at work. However, I feel these barely bootcuts fit me the best and are the perfect length even with a small kitten heel. These petite-friendly pants are comfortable, stretchy, pull-on pants that are fitted from the waist to the knees and looser-fitting from the knee down (but no extreme flare). It has belt loops so you can wear a belt to accessorize and has decorative fake pockets (no functional pockets). I was hoping to get more colors but, unfortunately, it doesn't seem like they make these in 4 Short anymore. Hoping Rekucci brings them back. For reference, I'm 5'1" 130 lbs (pear-shaped with menobelly) and got a size 4 Short. (Please ignore the socks with heels... lol). ... show more

I have 4 pair of these in different colors (my favorite is the mocha- it looks like hot chocolate powder) I am in between a 10 and 12 depending on the brand so I bought these in a 12. They aren't super tight in the legs, so I could probably go down a size it two (I won't yet, I have had knees and don't want them squeeze too much) the waist feels great when I put them on, but they slide down as you start moving and I'm pulling my pants up all day without a belt. - I probably just need a smaller size. But They look great on me and they're comfy. They're not very breathable. I work for a shipping company. These pants are great in the office, but if I have to go into the warehouse, they get hot and clammy pretty fast. They are supposed to be tummy controlling, but my gut trends to just force the waist to roll over... Another reason for the belt and possibly another reason I just need to bite the bullet on a smaller size. I bought 2 of these a little over a year ago. I wore them sparingly at first (just to a few job search classes and networking events) then the past month, they've been getting worn every week (occasionally twice a week). I wash in the washer, gental cycle, and hang or lay flat to dry. They've help up well... Except I had to sew the inner waist band cover down last night(see picture) that was an easy fix where a seem had come undone and I didn't realize it until I had an extra flap of fabric to deal with when I was tucking in my shirt. ... show more

    • Perfect But Maybe Not For Everybody
Was hesitant to try these, so many mixed reviews and a little much to spend sight-unseen (leap of faith) and returns are such a hassle. Here's my review. (1) Length: I dumbly didn't read the length in the description. I am 5'4" with short legs. I do not like to hem. They were ridiculously long on me when I bought them. Forget stilettos, I needed stilts. So reading about how much they shrunk, I washed them. Yes they do shrink in length. This is perfect for me, I can wear them with medium to high heels. If I were taller I might not be too happy. (2) Ironing: I also do not like to iron if I can avoid it. They wrinkle a little in the laundry. I hung them wet and did not use the dryer. Wrinkle release spray does the trick (I use homemade and it is super cheap). No ironing. (3) Fit and fabric: Size did not shrink. They fit like they did brand new, and it is a great fit. Got a 6, usually wear a 4 curvy or a 6. 125 pounds, kind of small waist and wider hips. Waist is fine. Legs fit perfectly, very flattering. Great for casual day at the office, I like the fabric, it is a little firm and a little stretchy. Overall - these beat the heck out of having to hunt for well-fitting pants that have to be dry cleaned and/or ironed. For someone of mostly average height and straight to curvy body, these are great (that's me). I can see where a tall person or maybe thighs that are a little on the curvier side might not get as good a fit, but I have found the perfect pants. Will buy more, and wish they had more colors. Dark gray. I'm 5' 5" 158. These pants are nice and long (in tall), sturdy, & comfortable to pull on and wear. Likely wearable for business look, but not particularly attractive. No pockets, straight legs not really flared much at all. For all these reasons I'm returning them. I just don't see the point in spending money on something that really does nothing for me fashion wise for this price. ... show more

    • Decent Price for a Decent Pair of Pants, Beware the Sizing Guide
First of all, I want to start by pointing out that their sizing guide is WAY off. Sit down and read the measurements and maybe you'll catch on to what I am saying. After reading several reviews, I settled on size 16, which is what I usually wear. Their size 16 says a mid-higher 30's inch waistline. I measured myself where I wear my waistbands, I measured my widest part, I measured my thinnest part. I'm 43" around. These FIT. They didn't fit because they're stretchy, they fit because I ordered my true size. Many of these "no-name" companies throw wild numbers out there and just compile this haphazard sizing guide with no true research as to what a woman really fits into. That aside, I like the feel of these. They are pretty comfortable, minus how stiff the material is. After washing they DIDN'T shrink, which is a HUGE turn on. They are very black!! They look like dress slacks without actually being them. That's a bonus. The price is very reasonable. My only big disappointment is POCKETS. I need real pockets. They have 'false' pockets...just embellishments where rear and front pockets should be. They come down to my ankles, also a plus, because being 5'9" makes a lot of pants high-waters on me and I wear I with 2 inch wedge heels and they still look great. All in all, order your true size and throw that guide out the window, look dressy without much effort, and be sad when you realize the pockets are nonexistent. ... show more

    • Don’t expect the SAME STYLE TO FIT THE SAME!

I am still so disappointed in the 2nd pair of REKUCCI pants that I bought on April 2, 2023! On April 27, 2022, I bought the first pair that fit so well that I wore them almost a year, and then bought another pair, but I didn’t wear them right way because I wanted to keep them for when the first pair wore out. However, when I did put on the 2nd pair, they didn’t fit!!! It was too late to return them, but I thought people should know that the company changed the materials they used for the first pair even though the style number was the same!!! Now I still wear my first pair (which I wore for over a YEAR) even though they have tiny fraying nylon threads sticking out on all the seams. They have lasted a long time (except for the fraying), and I should have been able to buy a 2nd pair that was EXACTLY THE SAME STYLE — RE 1754, and the same materials!
