I don't do many reviews, but felt compelled to review these pants. I have had 2 pairs for almost 2 years and just bought a 3rd pair. They are my absolute favorite slacks for work. I am slim in build with wider hips and long legs; therefore, I require pants for tall women. These fit great. The fabric is heavier weight (unlike some of the so-called slacks that are more like dressed up yoga pants). The fabric also has great stretch. These pants are SO comfortable. My only complaint is that I wish they had all the colors/patterns in tall sizes and I wish there were 5 belt loops instead of only 4. ... show more

I LOVE these pants. I've pretty much given up on wearing pants to the office bc they never fit or are too uncomfortable to make it through the day. These pants are amazing! They look like slim fit slacks/cigarette pants, but feel like (or at least have almost the stretchiness of) leggings. They are pull-on (no button or zippers), so they have to be super stretchy, but they are thick enough that they still look like pants (rather than the usually see-through leggins). They also have nice details that keep them looking more like slacks (fake space for a zipper, seaming along the waistband, faux pockets), so they do not look like leggings at all. Two minor complaints 1.)they are a tad bit loose down near the ankles. My personal preference is for the pant to tape down to the ankles pretty closely so that I can tuck them into boots/booties easily. This is pretty obvious in the pictures, though so it's not like I was expecting that. 2.) Not sure how the fabric will hold up. Its nice and thick, but its almost shiny (maybe semi-matte or satin finish would be a better way to describe it). Sizing was as expected. I'm pear shaped, 5'9 and about 160. Usually wear a 10-14 in pants. Ordered a 12 in these. I have a VERY heard time finding pants that fit because my waist is so small bu my thighs and hips are massive. The twelve was great - fits my waist with no gap or gaping, but also stretchy enough to accommodate my thighs/hips. ... show more

1st I just wanna say a lil something about buying clothes. Im little but I have shape & finding the right clothes (not in kid's section) that fit & look good at the same time, can be exhausting & frustrating. Im sure there are a few woman who totally understand what I mean. (Ive cried in a few stores) Anyway, let me tell you, these pants are very comfortable. The size fits the way its suppose to. The best part is, you can wear these for any occasion. Add a pair of heals & a dress shirt or a t-shirt & a pair of sneaks, you look good & are comfortable all at the same time. I Will definitely be buying more & have already recommended to a friend. I also bought another pair from this brand, Rekucci; women's secret figure pull-on w/tummy control, (sz 2 in Mocha) I've only tried these on, haven't worn them yet. But they're comfortable & look good. The tummy control is subtle. In other words, you can breathe. I don't really have a belly but I feel more comfortable when it looks flat. And just 1 more note, if you noticed I bought 2 different sizes. Take the time to measure yourself & check each chart that is shown with every pair. It's usually the last pic as you're swiping left. I’ll just come out and say it, ladies. I like the way these pants fit. I like the fabric. I like the fact that I’m 5’4” and somehow these are the perfect length — not too baggy, not short enough that they show my ankles when I sit down. They’re pretty nice looking work pants. But there’s just one problem. That problem? These pants have committed the worst sin known to women’s clothing attire. That’s right. You already know what I mean. FAKE POCKETS. You see those cute little button details on the butt? Those are buttons of deceit. The *obvious* hem where a pocket should be in the front?! Yeah, those pockets ain’t holding anything but LIES, sister. You got stuff to carry? You have a cell phone and car keys and a water bottle and your lunch and a coffee cup and you only have two hands? These pants will sit back and laugh while you drop your $5 mocha on the sidewalk. No item-carrying assistance to be found here. I’m knocking off TWO STARS for this. These would be five star pants! They have all the makings of five star pants! But it’s like they got to the end of the five star race and just decided to give up and lie down. They skipped school on the day they were handing out real pockets. They are the underachieving younger sibling of the five-star pants with real pockets. These pants? Girl, they’re gonna take you to Chili’s on the first date. You’re gonna have to tell all your friends that they’re great but they’ve been an assistant manager at a phone screen repair kiosk in the mall for the last seven years, so.... These are great pants for work. They are comfortable, and I give them five stars, but there are some conditions to that. First of all, I have three pairs of these, in both different fabrics (solid and melange), and there is a big difference between the solid and the melange in how they hold up. The melange pill. The solids don't. If you aren't sure which one to get, go with the solid, hands down. Second, don't put them in the dryer. This can lead to the spandex threading due to heat damage. I have seen some other reviews saying that they have threads on their pants. This is a common problem in spandex blend fabric in general, but flat or hang drying prevents this. Third, was them on easy care/permanent press. This will be easier on the fabric in general and will help with the pilling if you do have the melange fabric. As far as fit, they are very flattering. I am 5'10" 145 lbs and the 6 fits well and is long enough for my legs. They don't look dowdy, and are stylish, but aren't too tight for my office at a university. They're also comfortable that I am less likely to run home and change when I am wearing these vs. other pants. I plan on getting more of the solids. ... show more

I made sure to read reviews of these pants first before making my purchase and I did see many people stating that you should NOT put these pants in the dryer. I am glad I saw that spelled out so clearly because I usually dry all of my work pants, which might explain why I go through them so quickly. When these pants arrived I wanted to wash them before wearing them - obviously. I bought a special detergent just for black/dark clothes and used that on the pants. My only issue was that they came out so wrinkly! I even made sure to put them through an extra spin cycle to remove as much water as possible since they wouldn't be going in the dryer. They took so long to dry hanging up that I did wind up throwing them in the dryer on low heat for like 15 minutes. This helped them dry and helped the wrinkles somewhat. I still had to iron them, which is not a big deal (I'm just lazy). But I was really impressed when I wore them to work the next day. They fit great and looked great. I loved that they looked professional but were extremely comfortable. My favorite thing is that there are no clips or buttons because those can hurt when sitting down or after a big lunch! Instead these just slide on and magically stay up on your waist. I also bought the straight leg, tummy control version of these pants, but have yet to wear them. I bought three pairs of these pants in different colors for a new job. I love them! They're professional looking, they're comfortable, and they're high-waisted so they hide my muffin top and give me a smoother appearance. Also they make my butt look / feel nice and my husband has copped a feel more than once so there's that :P Admittedly I haven't washed them yet so I can't speak to their durability. I did read other reviews saying they wrinkle badly after washing and have a tendency to pill and even tear. Knowing that, I've purposely avoided washing them for as long as possible. I know it sounds gross but if you wear underwear as I assume most of you do and you're wearing these in a business setting as I expect most of you will, you really don't need to wash these unless you spill something on them. I've had them probably about 6 weeks and haven't had to wash them yet. I wear each pair once a week so really that's only 6 wearings per pair of pants....if you're working a low key desk job where you don't sweat, you can just fold them back up and save them for next week. I'll probably wash them soon because I'm not a Barbarian after all, but I'm hoping to greatly extend the longevity of these pants. One thing I want to note, I got two pants in size 12 and one pair in 12 short because I have short legs...while the 12 short pants fit better on me while standing, they turn into high waters when I sit down. These pants do pull up quite a bit when you sit down. Since I spend 95% of the time sitting when I'm wearing them, I highly prefer the standard size and not the short. Something to consider if you have short legs like me but spend most of your work day sitting. ... show more
